What you get to do in this role:

  • We are looking for a product leader to define, plan, and execute on a clear product vision around an "end to end" developer experience. Developers love APIs, the right leader in this role can devise an API strategy to ensure the power of our platform can be unlocked to the entire developer community. Tooling is also a critical aspect of the developer experience and we need to provide the right tool for the right job in the development lifecycle - from IDEs to debugging tools to CI/CD. You will be working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, developer evangelist, marketing, sales, and support). In this role, you will compose a strategy based on industry trends, market competition and developer needs. You will interact with our developer community, services and field team to understand their challenges with developing on the Now Platform. Be able to influence through thought leadership and building strong relationships. You must have effective verbal and written communication and a strong technical background to connect with the audience.

  • Work with your Product Management team to identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities through direct input with customers, analysts, developers and architects and your knowledge of the domain.

  • Lead the vision and roadmap for developer tooling and dev experience and drive buy-in from key stakeholders.

  • Be the product champion externally, and passionate voice of the customer internally.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 7-10+ years of product experience

  • Direct development experience

  • Experience with technical product management information development, API ecosystems, and developer communities

  • Capable of balancing the product strategy with market delivery

  • Self-starter and goal oriented mentality

  • Passionate, multi-tasking, and attention to detail

  • Team player who puts customers reputation above oneself

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing communities, multi-cultural remote and cross-functional teams

  • Adaptable, flexible and influential to challenge and change

  • Expert presenter with analysts, customers, large events and on camera presence

  • Superior analysis, problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Excellent analytical, collaboration, verbal and written skills.

  • Experience with web technologies or SaaS required.

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead vision and strategy for conversational commerce and / or other new initiatives at Gap Inc. * Use design thinking to translate customer insights into core product needs. Champion the needs of the customer to business stakeholders throughout the execution of each project, ensuring that what is delivered meets goals and objectives. * Identify opportunities, evaluate KPI levers and prioritize initiatives to develop a roadmap that delivers on the vision and strategy. Socialize roadmap and with brand partners and senior leadership. * Work within a cross functional team of UX designers, consumer insights researchers, data scientists and engineers to brainstorm new opportunities and bring them to life. * Conduct a series of lean experiments with customers and store employees to drive adoption. Revise product roadmap according to new insights from observed needs, desires, and behaviors. * Work with our brand and store operations partners to prioritize opportunities, create PoCs in our lab stores, and measure results. * Partner with our in-house technology team and/or outside vendors to execute on product roadmap. * Draft and negotiate contracts with technology vendors. Qualifications: * Strong product management experience in mobile products. Bonus points if experience is in the conversational commerce space. * Experience working with cross functional teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements. * Ability to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity. * Ability to communicate technical concepts to business users. * Strong oral and written communication skills, ability influence others in and across teams. * Data-driven with the analytical abilities to identify opportunities and drive core KPI analysis. * Demonstrated ability to understand technology concepts and implications. * Experience in managing vendor and internal relationships, to effectively communicate realistic expectations. * 5+ years of product management experience. * Bachelor's Degree. MS/MBA preferred.
