About the Opportunity
This role is a leader of the Enterprise Report team. The current solution leverages SQL Server, cube technology and Angular front end to display reports and provide analytics. In addition to reporting real time data is ingested into a Hadoop data lake. The long term goal is to continuously improve our offering and increase the level of self-service in our reporting and analytics environment. There is also opportunity to align reporting more closely with analytics and work at the intersection of ML based analytics providing predictive analysis for our customers.
Architecture and People management responsibility
Create and implement our new data design architecture
Migrate data loading, extraction and ETL to new model
Deep knowledge of data design, data warehousing and BI tools
Efficient management of onshore and offshore resources
Plan the hardware platform and create a HA/DR offering
Move teams to full agile
Experience and Skills:
Software development leader for 10 years
Experience with reporting and analytics tools
Management of onshore and offshore teams
Experience with implementing Enterprise reporting on an Oracle and SQL server platform.
Practice of Agile methodology with remote and co-located teams
Large dataset experience, VLDB experience
Relational database and ETL experience
Experience with building hosted SAAS solutions
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
