Hands on maintenance and/or construction experience
High school degree with some college preferred
Minimum of seven years' experience with progressively increased levels of responsibility overseeing property maintenance or construction projects.
Strong background in overseeing diverse types of multi-family communities new construction, rehabs, older product.
Strong track record of successful personnel management including hiring, training and staff development
Proficiency in computer programming, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and employment documents. Experience in MicroSoft Office, Yardi, Timberline and other Company software applications related to budgeting and overall project management.
Demonstrated management and supervisory skills to lead, direct, evaluate, and mentor team members, peers, and contractors.

On-Site Maintenance Oversight (Unit Renovations)
Manage numerous renovations, projects, initiatives and coordination efforts within our renovations program
Oversee renovation projects from start to finish for multi-family properties including creating scopes of work, obtaining costs/bids, coordinating the labor team, vendors and subcontractors, ordering materials, and tracking, analyzing and reporting on the costs and results of the program
Manage the budget/proforma for all unit renovations
Create, manage and maintain the property renovation per unit type cost break down spreadsheet
Proactively generate Purchase Orders for materials in accordance with schedules and timelines to complete unit renovations
Proactively and frequently communicate with the on-site staff to keep them abreast of schedules, work to be completed, notices to be sent, completion
Schedule and complete pre-walks and punch list walks for all units
Accept and sign off on the completed units signifying quality and standards have been met
Manage the in-house renovation team members including
Manage, maintain and provide reporting related to the unit tracker including making sure it is accurate and up to date
Approve invoices for materials on time and within budget
Ensure all work performed is compliant with local code and standards
Evaluate new products and materials for potential use in unit renovations
Participate in due diligence assignments as requested
Participate and execute on other special projects assigned by the VP, CAPEX & Maintenance
Other duties as assigned by the EVP, Buckingham Management, LLC or VP, CAPEX & Maintenance.
