A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. You'll focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhances security of internal information and protect our firms intellectual assets.


As a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines

  • Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors

  • Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities

  • Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications

  • Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria

  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

  • Responsibility for management of engagement financials

  • Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

  • Leading service adoption and operations teams to guarantee that security technology solutions are ready for global use;

  • Managing project and related functions, and of NIS in general, that is applied to integrate and drive the execution of strategic priorities;

  • Establishing thought leadership at the NIS and firm-wide level in the project management area;

  • Establishing and leading the NIS business strategy and plan;

  • Influencing others through leadership interactions with external clients, within NIS, across functions, and with Internal firm services leadership;

  • Establishing the strategic direction for Security Transformation and leading teams to execute against the strategy;

  • Building and maintaining relationships across the network of firms to effectively deliver Security Transformation activities on behalf of NIS;

  • Understanding security technology at an enterprise and solution level; and,

  • Executing tasks aligned to Security Transformation with autonomy.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Engaging business and technology stakeholders at all levels to gather long term goals and requirements;

  • Mapping long term business requirements to complex security architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman etc.;

  • Designing and building security technology solutions aligned to a global central service environment;

  • Working in security engineering with enterprise security technology;

  • Working to transition technology from a local focus to a central technology service organization;

  • Working in a complex, matrix organization; and,

  • Working with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: The Senior Manager is responsible for the hiring, development, and supervision of the Clinical Affairs team within Sarah Cannon Development Innovations. This role includes the development and maintenance of procedures and departmental processes within Clinical Affairs to ensure ongoing compliance with federal, local and company regulations as well as Good Clinical Practices to ensure adequate delivery of Industry Sponsored and Investigator Initiated clinical trials. The Sr. Manager, Project Administration will have line management responsibilities within the department. The Clinical Affairs team's responsibilities involve all study management activities which may include: Investigator site recruitment/feasibility, critical documentation collection and review, clinical status tracking to ensure metrics are met, and maintaining files in 'audit-ready' condition. It is imperative that all Clinical Affairs team members adhere to standard operating procedures, ICHGCP, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Your duties: * Manage and oversee the Clinical Affairs team (includes Clinical Project Associates (CPA), Senior Clinical Project Associates (Sr. CPA), and Clinical Team Lead I roles/activities, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Sarah Cannon SOPs * Manage the performance of direct reports, including role expectations, performance reviews, and corrective actions where necessary. * Ensure adequate support, provide feedback and manage performance issues, and identify and develop training opportunities for department and individuals * Supervise, educate, direct and support the Clinical Affairs team * Develop and write appropriate SOPs and work instructions * Develop tools for tracking study specific and departmental health metrics that may be shared with clients as well as Senior Management within Sarah Cannon * Manage departmental resources to ensure all project teams are adequately supported.
