KREWE’s unique approach to eyewear has created a cult following amongst consumers and influencers alike. Our frames have appeared in publications from GQ to VOGUE and on celebrities such as Beyonce, Gigi Hadid, Meghan Markle, Carrie Underwood, Hailey Bieber, Zayne Malik, Scott Disick, and Adam Huber, among others.

As the business grows, we are seeking smart, creative, and experienced individuals to join our talented team Key attributes and qualities we are looking for in candidates include an entrepreneurial spirit, a best-practices methodology, highest standards for execution, and a high level of accountability. Successful candidates are innovative and solution-oriented, adaptable and resilient, and team-oriented with a lean-in attitude. We are currently searching for a high-performing Senior Director of People to develop and lead talent strategies to drive business outcomes and growth at KREWE.

This position serves an integral role in developing, aligning, and executing talent solutions across the organization. You will be responsible for nurturing the KREWE brand and culture within the organization and end-to-end employee experience. You will develop and implement a talent strategy that includes talent development for managers and individual contributors, organizational strategy, recruiting, retention, benefits, and employee onboarding for all of our corporate employees.

You will identify and address issues impacting the employee experience during critical moments in the employee life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the implementation of the talent strategy for all corporate roles at KREWE, including executive, manufacturing/procurement, design, fulfillment, customer service, in-person HQ functions, e-commerce, marketing, and wholesale.

Build and develop a skilled team of HR professionals to support the needs of these business areas. Assess and drive a talent development, retention planning, and succession planning process that supports the needs of the business. Contribute to organizational strategy discussions.

Manage the employee value proposition for employees in multiple business areas through all facets of the employee lifecycle. Drive talent practices that motivate and engage the workforce and align with KREWE brand, culture and business goals. Design and operationalize a talent acquisition program that is in line with KREWE’s strategic direction and core values.

Partner with organizational leaders to effectively manage headcount to drive business results. Oversee employee performance review and compensation programs to achieve retention and development of high-potential talent, prompt management of underperformance, and compensation packages in line with local and industry markets. Collaborate with business leaders to direct an employee onboarding experience that delivers a consistent and timely experience aligned with the KREWE culture and brand.

Manage relationship with PEO.

Evaluate and maintain point of view on value proposition. Own the organizational structure, and develop and implement standards and processes for employee and role leveling and skill fit.

Keeps current with talent and learning development trends to stay up to date about the changing talent landscape to evolve our programs and adopt industry trends. Requirements: Based in New Orleans (with relocation assistance), requiring full time in-person office presence in our New Orleans headquarters. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, focused on employee relationships, manager and individual contributor development, recruiting and retention in a growing organization.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in change management. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements. Experience evaluating, selecting, and working with a PEO.
