Duties & Responsibilities

• ·Optimize credit strategies to maximize conversion/usage, customer experience, credit performance and investor return for credit card.
• ·Work within the credit organization and contribute leadership and technical expertise to achieve shared objectives.
• ·Partner with other areas of the business to drive overall company objectives by identifying opportunities and proposing strategies.
• ·Identify potential issues and propose solutions.
• ·Measure performance through internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.
• ·Drive, monitor, refine and develop credit risk strategies for growth.
• ·Create test/control champion/challenger tests and monitor to inform decisions on future risk criteria.
• ·Partner with Decision Science to define and develop credit models and tools.
• ·Develop strategies that maximize conversion/usage while maintaining credit discipline.
• ·Respond to portfolio and vintage-based performance results to improve existing strategies.
• ·Cultivate good working relationships with other business units, particularly Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
• ·Maintain overall risk and return targets for investors.
• ·Partner with Decision Science, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and other functional teams to achieve credit strategy goals.

Requirements

• ·Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, an Engineering discipline, Management Information Systems, or other quantitative degree field.
• ·7+ years of experience in Modeling or Credit Risk Analyst, Modeling or Credit Risk Manager, Modeling or Credit Risk Director, or Modeling or Credit Risk Consultant or related quantitative and analytical occupation.
• ·The required seven years of experience must have involved experience with SAS, R, or Python, and statistical modeling in the consumer lending or credit card industry using predictive modeling methods such as logical regression, survival analysis, and machine learning method.
• ·May partially telecommute from within the State of Delaware.
