This is a highly unique opportunity to join a world class Global Contracts COE, which reports directly to the Corporate L&GR function. We are seeking a dynamic AGC/Senior Director of Contracts- Procurement to lead our global procurement contracts team.

This position is responsible for leading a staff of 40+ contracting professionals providing legal support and contracting expertise to all of our business units, globally. In addition, the successful candidate will lead the organizational transformation aligned to our new global contract lifecycle management tool (Leap) and related transformational processes. The successful candidate is visionary and thinks in terms of the possible in developing our world class organization, processes, tools and metrics.

The Senior Director of Contracts - Procurement position is also responsible for developing a world class organization, with deep bench talent, redundancies in skill sets and an agnostic model to support each of the businesses. This role requires superior collaboration across multiple businesses and functions with the ability to provide strong strategic leadership and be in the trenches when required. The position reports directly to the Vice President, Global Contracts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead global team of procurement contracting professional to provide support on all procurement contracts

Develop agnostic support model

Implement full leverage of our new CLM tool, Leap

Develop world class metrics and analytics

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations.

Ensure compliance with all laws, corporate policies, regulations and procedures

Focus on continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's degree

Juris Doctorate, LLM, MBA or other related graduate degrees

Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management, governance, or learning fields.

WE VALUE:

Experience developing or leading standardization initiatives

Experience in leading extensive process automation or similar function transformation projects

Change agent mindset with ability to make decisions with limited information or situational ambiguity

Experience leading global teams

Demonstrated ability to influence and deal tactfully and confidentially with peers and customers in a dynamic environment (e.g., Lead Contract Negotiator in complex pursuit, Contracts lead in M&A transaction, etc.)

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Integrity and strong focus on compliance with internal standards and policies

Sound business judgment, strong independent problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to prioritize projects and coordinate multiple tasks within time constraints

Ability to analyze and interpret contract legal and commercial terms

Demonstrated knowledge of contract administration and management

Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred

MS Office literacy

VIEW JOBS 9/27/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-26T00:00 <p>Job Description</p><p>The TI-GPS FCM (Facilities Contracts Manager) is an individual contributor who will lead or co-lead the sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and management support for Tool Install and Multi-prime (MP) Layout Dependent and Process Specific Specialty Systems (LOD/PSSS) for construction contracts supporting Intel's global projects.</p><p>This position will work closely with local or site-based Facilities Contract Managers (FCMs), site specific and global management for design, engineering, finance, legal, and fab construction to deliver complex projects enabling Intel's manufacturing capacity. This FCM position will work within the Construction and Facilities Supply Chain Group within Global Supply Chain Organization.</p><p>The TI GPS Facilities Contracts Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Developing solid relationships with internal partners, both local and across the virtual factory network, as well as critical suppliers.</p></li><li><p>The FCM will deliver results to meet CFSC and GSC (Global Supply Chain) Strategic Objectives around Cost, Quality, Availability, Technology, and Safety. Proactively lead the team through the construction contracting efforts associated with multiple-prime construction projects supporting Tool Install and progressive Build scope associated with LOD the projects life cycle: Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Planning, Bid/Evaluate/Negotiate, and Execution.</p></li><li><p>This role will require a combination of remote and on-site support for specific activities. Travel could be 1-2 weeks on a quarterly basis.</p></li><li><p>Develop MP Procurement leadership acumen to support contract projects and help direct project procurement activities required to support the planning and execution of the operations.</p></li><li><p>Develop and present rationale for construction contracting and compensation strategies.</p></li><li><p>Develop and execute the contracts used to procure design, construction, and other related services supporting Intel MP projects.</p></li><li><p>Understand market conditions and incorporate that knowledge into sourcing strategies.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with corporate fiscal, legal, environmental, and risk management policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value.</p></li><li><p>Plan and implement procurement systems necessary to support project procurement operations.</p></li><li><p>Review and update working procedures, documents, and systems to keep pace with project requirements, competition, and market innovations.</p></li><li><p>Support local MP FCMs in the facilitation of resolution process for any MP contract disputes.</p></li><li><p>Provide expertise on construction contracting methods, understanding the relationship between contractual responsibilities and assignment of risk, and a basic understanding of relationship between costs, quality, and schedule.</p></li><li><p>Experience with unit rate contracting or quantity survey practices.</p></li><li><p>Influences for win/win outcomes with suppliers, business partners, and upper management.</p></li><li><p>High tolerance for ambiguity in a highly fluid work environment. Solid Lean/problem solving skills.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
