Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical Retail Operations

  • In charge of the development and execution of initiatives for best in class patient standard of care.

  • Work closely with VP, Clinical Operations to define strategy and goals for all initiatives related to clinical services.

  • Maximize doctor office production and efficiency through training and development of patient coordinators (PCs), doctors, and retail staff.

  • Work closely with the Director of Telehealth to collaborate and address concerns, opportunities, system advancements, etc.

  • Work closely with regional field management to provide doctor scheduling and coverage of existing locations to maintain 100% coverage for emergency fill in, vacation coverage, and secondary coverage.

  • Measure key performance indicators for both doctors and retail staff to improve revenue and operating standards, driving clinical excellence and execution.

  • Partner with field operations leadership to achieve operational excellence at every location.

  • Maintain all state board and federal regulations for compliance of professional services, dispensing, and HIPAA

  • Maintain accurate coding and billing of professional services in partnership with the Managed Care Department.

  • Assist in developing strategies for growth and profitability of professional services in regard to medical billing in partnership with the Managed Care Department.

  • Develop strategies for growth and profitability of clinical services.

Doctor Relations

  • Recruitment, relationship and clinical development of optometrists for existing and future locations.

  • Doctor training and development: EHR training to company clinical best practice policies and procedures.

  • Work closely with the VP of Clinical Operations on doctor contract negotiations.

  • Conduct doctor performance reviews when required.

  • Work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager on relationship development between professional services and retail: Liaison between the doctor's office and retail operations as well as corporate departments on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
  • 5+ years of OD clinical experience (retail environment preferred)
  • 2+ years of leadership experience (retail environment preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, multifunctional group of people.

  • Collaborative approach in daily interactions with internal and external parties.

  • Highly disciplined and organized with a strong attention to detail.

  • Business travel required: 40-50%

  • Solid level of proficiency with all pertinent PC software; fluent in Excel, Word, Power Point, Google Suite

Responsibilities A Clinical Liaison serves as an advocate for patients during the pre-admission process. Under the general direction of the Director of Business Development, you work with all clinical teams and groups in evaluating both current and potential patients' statuses and medical needs. Our hospitals offer a post-ICU plan of care that focuses on mobility, weight-bearing, ambulation and nutrition - all crucial contributors to getting patients back to their baseline of health. Clinical Liaisons help hospitals in their local communities to identify post-ICU patients who have entered into a state of chronic critical illness and will benefit from this specialized extension of acute care. * Armed with a strong clinical background, payer knowledge and problem-solving skills, you'll work with physicians, discharge planners and patient's families to plan the best continuum of care. * Performs clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsels with patient's families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one. * Partners with hospital case managers to create smooth patient transfer processes and help remove payer-related and operational barriers to getting appropriate patients into this highly effective level of care. This is a salaried position that works Monday-Friday with rotating on-call responsibility. Qualifications We are seeking results-driven team players.
