Job Title: Senior Director of Business Development

Location: Remote

Compensation: Base Salary $85000 - $90000 / year + commission

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, EAP

BEST Crowd Management, a GardaWorld Company, seeks a Senior Director of Business Development to grow our long-term client base in the United States through prospecting, cold calling, proposals, and presentations. The Senior Director of Business Development will lead the sales team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance oversight to achieve sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

  • Create proposals for customers by responding to RFPs

  • Maintain positive growth year over year in new and reoccurring business

  • Work in conjunction with the leadership on leads, projects, proposals, and other tasks as assigned

  • Responsible for providing support to the sales team on large sales opportunities

  • Working with staff members from our operations department to develop leads to focus on existing market growth, establish contact with new business via cold calling and prospecting

Client Relationship Management

  • Get in front of potential problems to minimize potential loss

  • Work with internal account managers in local markets throughout the country before, during, and after the event to understand resources and manage the client relationship

  • Answering prospects' questions regarding the company's service options

Administrative and Support

  • Use senior staffing for training and guidance

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

  • Maintaining supplies of sales presentation materials, including slides and brochures

  • Entering customer information into Microsoft Dynamics

Personal Attributes

  • Ability to work independently and willingness to take ownership of your job

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sport Management, or a related field.

  • At least 4 years of sales experience.

  • At least 4 years of experience in the events industry.

  • Knowledge of event and security staffing for both large and small events.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Target-driven mindset.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find new ways to create value and increase profitability.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within BEST Crowd Management.

  • Previous experience with a CRM system is preferred.

  • Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

  • Some travel may be required (less than 10%).

  • Ability to pass a background check.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing this job's duties, sitting, standing, walking, talking, or hearing is frequently required. Standing or walking for extended periods (up to 10 hours) is required. On occasion, may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different outdoor weather conditions. Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
