Senior Director, New Product Introduction Engineering Program Manager

Microsoft's Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Supply Chain New Product Introduction (NPI) organization within CSCP drives new product deliverables across the Supply Chain, working closely with Engineering, Product Management and other key NPI functions to ensure time to market growth readiness for all new products and Solutions. Well defined supply chain NPI processes ensure predictable on-time performance, optimized for cost, prevents urgent unplanned investments and provides accurate, timely product readiness across the supply chain organization. We are looking for a Senior Director, New Product Introduction Engineering Program Manager - passionate supply chain professional to help build and create sustainable advantage throughout the product development process.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 10+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development

• OR equivalent experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.

• 9+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing or Operations

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening reqirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 12+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development

• OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development

• OR equivalent experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.

• 12 years' experience leading and developing high performing teams.

• 10+ years' experience in global, electronics, high tech manufacturing.

• Background and experience leading a hardware engineering function within high tech company

• Experience in project or program management with proven track record of successfully setting up and executing supply chain operational processes.

• Cloud supply chain experience

NPI Product Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 - $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 - $304,200 per year.

• Managing all cloud-based NPI programs within our Azure Cloud Supply Chain driving process improvements and improved predictability of full solution readiness.

• Provide thought leadership for the Supply Chain NPI team to drive faster time to market.

• Develop core capabilities needed to scale the Supply Chain NPI team.
