Senior Director, Narrative Marketing
A10 is looking for an exceptional candidate to lead the corporate Narrative Marketing function.
The Sr. Director reports to the VP of Global Marketing, is a great storyteller and owns the strong positioning and messaging of A10 and the value of its products and solutions for customers. They develop thought provoking thought leadership content that challenges the status quo, leads to new customer conversations and creates excitement with analysts and partners.
The Sr. Director, Narrative Marketing informs the GTM strategy, own new product launches and provide the global field sales, Marketing and campaign teams with essential content and messaging in support of our global GTM motions.
Over their career, the Sr. Director has developed deep technical expertise in the networking and cyber security industry and brings this to life by creating content that address the needs of our customers and creates a meaningful connection between A10 and its customers. The Sr Director is uniquely focused on supporting revenue growth for A10 by solving customer problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a team of individual contributors and managers
Manage end-to-end process of new product launches
Develop and own messaging and positioning of A10 and its security and software product portfolio
Develop GTM strategies with A10 C-level leadership team and regional sales VPs
Create through provoking through leadership content that demonstrates A10 expertise in the market and challenge the status quo
Manage relationships and co-author content with leading industry analysts
Represent A10 at events, with press, at customer meetings and internal and external executive briefings
In collaboration with the PR & Comms team, develop content to amplify the A10 story
Develop sales and partner enablement content
Develop competitive positioning for products and solutions
Evangelize A10 products as a subject matter expert
Write solution oriented and technical papers, competitive documents and other strategic collateral to support the worldwide sales force and establish thought leadership
Manage Analyst Relations and ensure that A10 is well represented in Analyst reports and their customer inquiries and briefings
Support the sales and partner enablement function with content for playbooks and training
Required Experience:
Passionate self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment
Experience with competitive analysis including the ability to demonstrate unique value propositions to target vertical markets
Experience in large scale service provider networks, and large enterprise networking and cybersecurity.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
Ability to create original content based on internal and analyst research
Presentation skills to clearly communicate product functionality and advantages
Highly technical and analytical
15+ years of experience in product marketing or product management in the networking and security industry
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent technical degree/work experience
