As the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing , you will own the communication strategy (across email, SMS, forms, in-app) and execution of that strategy that meets and exceeds these high standards. This is a vital role within the Marketing organization that will report into the Vice President of Performance Marketing.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, data-driven marketer who can leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to create the best user journey. You will lead a team of high-performing lifecycle marketers to define the current customer journey, build and orchestrate the optimal program, scale through automation, and optimize towards business goals like new customers, engagement, and revenue.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead and build a team of expert lifecycle marketers by developing their skills and careers and be an advocate for their work across the organization. Be a player-coach by both managing and doing.

  • Accountable for revenue targets, including new logo acquisition and customer expansion. Maximize ROI on all initiatives and help lead the Marketing organization towards reaching its ambitious goals.

  • Own the lifecycle strategy and ensure our prospects, customers, and partners receive a best-in-class journey while achieving our goals. Continuously iterate on these journeys to find new opportunities.

  • Orchestrate the communication strategy across our owned channels and make certain every communication touchpoint delivers the most impact. Find gaps and opportunities and continuously optimize to drive improvements.

  • Develop quarterly channel roadmaps, including testing, experimentation, and measurement plan

  • Analyze our data and lead the segmentation strategy for all communications. Build a robust testing strategy and ensure the right audience is receiving the right messages with as much personalization as possible.

  • Monitor and analyze performance across all communications and provide visibility into results through dashboard creation and reporting.

  • Serve as strategic partner and subject matter expert collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Customers Success, GTM Operations, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Engineering

  • Operate as a center of excellence managing high campaign volume, prioritizing resources, and executing across multiple departments. Have rigorous QA processes to make sure we deliver the highest quality without errors.

  • Maintain industry and lifecycle best practices and apply these to everything we do.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of lifecycle and email marketing experience, with 5+ years leading high performing teams and being a strategic owner of the customer journey.

  • Proven experience in senior-level marketing roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing the user experience and journey strategies.

  • A passion for your role and are excited about solving new challenges.

  • A strong ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions between multiple projects and competing priorities within the organization.

  • Deep experience building strategy, operationalizing through execution, and delivering results.

  • Demonstrated success managing and mentoring a team of high performers across multiple offices and time zones, as well as building highly collaborative and productive relationships with cross-functional leaders-people want to work with you and for you

  • Ability to communicate strategy, business cases, and roadmap to influence and advocate in a complex and matrixed organization. Proven track record collaborating with both technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.

  • Bias for action with strong verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Balance of experience and adaptability to tackle new and/or unique business problems.

  • Saas experience with expertise on a wide range of lifecycle tools and platforms.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:

$220,000-$330,000 USD
