Position Title: Senior Director, HRBP, Cell Therapy Global Manufacturing Network

Position Summary:

Provides HRBP support to Cell Therapy Global Manufacturing network. Located in one of our GPS hubs, this role provides strategic HR business partnership in driving the people strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, team effectiveness and change management for his/her client group. The Senior Director HRBP will be as well in charge of one or several cross-functional project(s) aligned with our GPS or Cell Therapy People Priorities and will lead a team of local HRBPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic HR Business Partner expertise to the Cell Therapy Global Manufacturing network and the respective leadership team to maximize organizational performance.

  • Translates business strategy and organizational needs into contemporary global organizational performance solutions including organizational design, talent management, and culture change.

  • Aligns the sites strategies into the BMS People Strategy and monitors the effectiveness of organization performance programs through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that brings value to the business.

  • Partners with HR COE's and collaborates across the HR model to monitor external environment (e.g., job market, technology, demographic development) and define future workforce requirements (quantitative and qualitative) as well as identifying and articulating the HR needs of the business to the COE's and deploys their programs and processes in ways that bring value to the business.

  • Provides guidance and collaborates with local HR Business Partners and People Services and COE teams for effective deployment of HR activities.

  • Analyzes key data and trends to drive organizational effectiveness and the development of a workforce plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.

  • Drives the talent agenda, including Succession planning, diversity aspirational goal achievement and talent retention efforts pipelining, as necessary, for external talent.

  • Leverages business strategy, people strategy, external best practices and organizational insights to deliver bold and innovative organizational and talent solutions; more specifically builds and execute proper talent and workforce plans to support continuous implementation of organization design and transformational activities as well as the continuous evolution of the Business functions.

  • Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful and inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Values and fostering cultural diversity.

  • Collaborates closely with the GPS HR Leadership Team and local HRBPs to drive consistency across GPS and local initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College/University degree (advanced degree preferred)

  • 15+ years of HR experience, preferably in multinational businesses.

  • Extensive experience as an HR business partner with significant leadership skills

  • Demonstrated success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making

  • Proven application in leveraging business and organizational acumen by using insights about the business environment to improve talent and business outcomes.

  • Broad experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives and driving organization performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate and manage business issues and taking initiative to drive necessary change.

  • Experience in the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance and talent decisions

  • Broad experience in using external and internal professional networks in strategic activities to achieve better talent outcomes.

  • Demonstrated skills in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, D&I strategies, and talent succession management.

  • Proven experience in working effectively within a global, multi-country, multi-cultural matrixed environment and building alignment in a cross functional and team environment
