What will I be doing?
The Senior Director of HR Consulting will work closely with the VP, HR Consulting to create and implement business solutions in areas including, but not limited to, talent strategy, team member engagement, workforce planning, process improvement, and change implementation. You will create robust strategic partnerships with a broad client group by actively establishing rapport with technology leaders, pursuing in-depth business and technology knowledge, and facilitating cross-functional teams to drive solution-based responses to client needs. You will drive large-scale horizontal human resource projects, requiring collaboration and project management skills. You will collaborate with the VP, HR Consulting and the Technology leadership team to develop a talent strategy to position Hilton as an employer of choice for top technology and digital talent. This includes building a leading engineering and tech environment, ensuring our compensation approach is aligned to market expectations, partnering with the Recruitment team on how our positions are marketed and ensuring we have the right tools and processes to attract exceptional talent. This includes ensuring we have a compelling presence in the market (through event sponsorship, conference-speaking engagements, etc.). You will be at the forefront of developing an exciting and effective value proposition for members of the Technology and Digital team. You will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with the Technology and Digital organization and will support these clients regarding organization structure or job changes (analyzing and making recommendations to ensure consistency for position descriptions, salaries, etc.). You will craft focused organizational development plans with business partners including workforce planning, talent management, performance management and leadership planning. This leader will also work with Legal and Finance departments and governmental agencies on information requests, as well as lead compliance on all legal and financial requirements as per relevant legislation and Hilton policy. You will collaborate with other members of the Global HR group to ensure the best service is delivered to clients.
More specifically, you will:
Partner with clients to develop firsthand knowledge of short and long-term business goals and objectives
Build strong advisory relationships with clients and partners across the business
Identify critical focus areas for analysis, development, and implementation of integrated HR solutions that support the business' global strategy
Advise global clients on all areas of HR support
Plan, execute and implement HR cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives while meeting deadlines and working within a specific budget
Partner with external vendors to align the desired project outcomes and assess the progress and completion of project landmarks
Lead by directing, mentoring, and facilitating cross functional team resources
Draft status updates and craft strategic presentations aimed at informing, aligning, and engaging key partners

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
Six (6) years of management experience at a Director level
Five (5) years of experience as a Human Resources strategic partner, developing HR plans aligned with the critical priorities of a business
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Ability to travel as needed
Exposure to Agile and product environments
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
MA/MS Master's Degree
Seven (7) years of experience as a Human Resources advisor to internal clients in a complex, matrixed corporate environment
Global corporate experience in a dynamic, complex organization known for sophisticated methodologies in human capital management and development
Broad global understanding of relevant legislation
Success as a teacher, mentor and coach
Experience with PeopleSoft and Success Factors
