About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Strategic Growth Officer, The Sr. Director Hospital Development will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, coordination and outreach to hospitals in our market service areas.

The Sr. Director will work with field operations' teams, business development teams, and Sr. Management to develop and implement ground level strategies to engage, partner and grow relationships with hospitals and systems at multiple levels. These may include outreach with Discharge Planners, Social Workers, Hospitalists, Nephrologists, Nursing staff and C-Suite executives.

The Sr. Director will identify hospital / system targets that maximize potential strategic impact to our existing market areas and markets where the company has identified for future growth.

He/She will work closely with field operations teams and business development teams in the formation of market area strategies and act as a key player in implementing strategies in a team oriented manner. The Sr. Director will specifically "own" portions of the market strategies that are directed towards hospitals/systems and will have direct outreach responsibility to C-suite hospital executives and other levels of hospital/system organizations as determined by the strategies.

He/She will also coordinate, direct, and hold accountable other company personnel in the execution of market strategies vis-a-vis hospitals/systems. The Sr. Director will be expected to lead from outreach through contracting for some service lines with Hospitals/System and coordinate with other internal SMEs for other aspects of the partnering arrangements.

About You

You will be responsible for driving the SHC culture though our customer service standards and will be accountable for administering outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers, including leadership staff, physicians and other hospital and field personnel. You're relationship focused and driven to create new relationships with hospitals in the service area as well as provide world class service and communication to existing relationships.

You're a dynamic individual capable of liaising with all levels of hospital staff and you're always seeking new strategies to grow our outreach. You're savvy as to the world of contracts as to the development, negotiation and closing of contracts ensuring adherence to applicable policies and compliance with laws and industry regulations

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 10 years' C-Suite development experience with hospitals and systems, preferably in the California market.

Education: BS or BA from an accredited 4-year university; MBA a plus License/Certifications: Considered a plus if certifications in Quality, Marketing, Business, or Nephrology
