DePuy Synthes in Johnson & JohnsonMedical Devices is an exciting and critical business that supports patientsthrough next-generation orthopedics while driving new innovative solutions forpatients and health care professionals. The candidate for this Senior Director,Business Technology Leader role will have global, end-to-end responsibilitiesfor development and delivery of technology strategy, digital services, andprogram execution through partnership with our franchise business leadershipteams. The candidate will own the DePuy Synthes global IT portfolio, supportour commercial strategies, and engage in on-going transformation of ourbusiness.

This credo-based leader will be amember of the DePuy Synthes business leadership team, an extended member ofeach Regional Medical Devices Technology leadership team(s), and a member ofthe Global Medical Devices Technology leadership team.

The role will report to the VicePresident, NA Medical Devices Business Technology.

The successful incumbent will have thefollowing responsibilities and activities to drive results in partnership withour business partners in DePuy Synthes:

  • Develop deep knowledge of related business and technology capabilities and solutions to drive customer value and impact for Medical Devices

  • Partner with business leaders and teams to drive commercial execution and customer insights to influence and support market growth opportunities

  • Execute and develop technology roadmaps in partnership with DePuy Synthes business leaders and other key stakeholders

  • Drive excellence in execution and ensure timely execution of critical programs and solutions;

  • Understand, improve, and outline business processes and interdependencies for new solutions that impact the DePuy Synthes business

  • Actively engage as a thought leader to create new opportunities in partnership with business and technology leaders

  • Coordinates business planning through alignment of key stakeholders within PDS franchise, Commercial Operations teams, SCG, and Analytics teams

  • Understands and delivers end-to-end contract management technology strategy with senior business leaders for Medical Devices NA

  • Evangelize and support agile principles for solution development and execution

  • Manage internal technology services levels on behalf of DePuy Synthes NA to ensure proper operations support for critical systems and processes

Leadership,Business Acumen, and Technology Knowledge Expectations

  • Deep knowledge of current and emerging external stakeholders'

needs (Policy, Payer, Provider, Patient) and business models to define challenges, technology opportunities, and support shaping current \ future integrated customer solutions strategies.

  • Understanding of value-based healthcare, quality measures,

payment and delivery models, and the roles of policy, payer, provider and

patients to support Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices strategies.

  • Broad and relevant technology experience in supply chain, pricing, contracting, account management, value added services, digital, analytics, and customer relationship technology platforms \ solutions

  • Extraordinary experience in agile methodology adoption and execution across a significant business technology portfolio

  • Strong business technology portfolio management skills with experience in driving and measuring business value

  • Passionate, driven, leader and business partner committed to creating a culture of innovation, execution, and customer service

  • Credo-based, contagious leadership style, with high level of employee engagement, teamwork, and dedication to diversity and inclusion

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience is required.

  • Experience in defining and delivering successful, complex products and integrations in the digital space is required.

  • Deep Agile methodology solution delivery experience is required.

  • Lean process improvement, development knowledge training or experience is required.

  • Understands healthcare industry, and emerging trends for driving new market and customer value solutions.

  • Expertise or knowledge in customer engagement experience design is preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics is required.

  • Passion to develop and deploy business capabilities that delight J&J's business partners, customers, and employees is required.

  • Big picture mindset with the ability to zoom in and out of details; can balance both technical and strategic demands is required.

  • This position may require up to 10-20% travel, domestic/international

  • Flexibility will be considered for role location (West Chester, PA or Somerville, NJ)

We are seeking a Director of Construction and Engineering to drive and deliver that strategy. Located at Qurate Retail Group's Corporate HQ in suburban Philadelphia, the Director will lead a global team to deliver large capital projects and all global construction from small office buildouts to significant refreshes and new site construction. In this critical leadership role, you will interact with senior leadership across the organization to understand business strategy and develop the solutions that support those strategies. As a key influencer, you will tell the story that results in action, demonstrating project value and crafting the business justification to support the vision. This highly visible global role will build internal and external partnerships, manage vendor relationships, bring new technologies to QVC and share best practice methodologies globally. A strong business acumen, bias for results, unwavering focus on the customer and high energy will result in success. Your work will contribute directly to the transformation of our business. Key accountabilities include: * Responsible for construction and oversight of critical building systems across Qurate Retail Group – i.e., QVC, HSN, zulily and Cornerstone Brands global facilities. * Manage a global portfolio of projects that are consistently delivered on time, within budget and exceeding our internal customers' expectations. Timely reporting, tracking and issue resolution is an essential accountability for this role. * Direct CREWS leaders to ensure critical building systems are being installed, maintained and monitored in a consistent manner to deliver uninterrupted building operations and reliability. * Deliver brand-right workplace solutions aligned with culture, supporting key business processes and priorities. * In conjunction with market CREWS leadership, direct strategic capital planning and management for the larger CREWS organization insuring all team projects are properly prioritized, funded and held accountable for overall budget commitments. * Leads a very senior team of Capital Planning, Senior Project Managers and Critical Building Systems Managers, in the US and internationally. Experience leading a geo-dispersed team strongly preferred. * Highly collaborative with senior executives, CREWS colleagues and key stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements, challenges and opportunities around the world. * Building and delivering best practices design and construction methodology. * Leverage global vendor relationships with general contractors, architects and project management firms. * Heavy focus on the customer experience – maintaining open lines of communication, setting timeline, scope and cost expectations, and meeting commitments. * Works very closely with the Procurement organization around vendor sourcing process and policies. * Establishing prioritization and governance to processes, resources and management of projects.
