Position Summary

Reporting to the VP, Global Adult & Feminine Care (AFC), the Senior Director, Global AFC Strategy and Consumer Engagement will be responsible for leading the development of consumer engagement strategies for each of the sector brands to recruit and retain consumers to maximize lifetime value. This leader will also be responsible driving the integration of the global sector strategy in partnership with the Sr. Global Brand directors for AFC.

The Senior Director, Global AFC Strategy and Consumer Engagement will have ownership to create the global governance and the ongoing tracking of strategic prescriptions/blueprints for each brand to ensure the strategic mandates are being followed. This leader will prepare for QBRs in partnership with the other Sr. Directors, work in the markets to obtain tracking information, correct KPIs, identify, and elevate issues for discussion with senior leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

More specifically, the Senior Director, Global AFC Strategy and Consumer Engagement will:

Consumer Engagement (CX) Strategy and Platform

  • Develop an understanding of the different moments and occasions relevant to our consumers across different life stages.

  • Build consumer engagement strategies that prioritize the moments that matter to build one to one relationships with consumers.

  • Leverage first-priority data to recruit and retain consumers across life stages to maximize their lifetime value.

  • Deliver always on consumer engagement platforms that help us retain consumers to maximize lifetime value.

Sector Strategy

  • Responsible for the integration of the different brand strategies for the categories and brands to create the broader picture for the AFC sector strategy.

  • Identify mega trends on a global scale impacting our categories and consumers across key life stages.

  • Proactively focus on the external landscape to deeply understand the competition, explore potential partnerships, and bring in new opportunities for growth to elevate the sector strategy.

  • Work in close partnership with Sr. Global Brand Directors to ensure the brand strategies come to life cohesively.

  • Manage governance and tracking of strategic global prescription for all AFC brands.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

The Senior Director, Global AFC Strategy and Consumer Engagement will be/possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or similar Marketing discipline.

  • 15+ years of strategic marketing experience with demonstrated ability leading digital marketing and consumer engagement platforms across global sector(s).

  • Strong technical knowledge using advanced analytics to drive digital marketing strategies developed by understanding consumer behavior, consumer journeys, market trends, and competition.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver, and enhance global marketing frameworks that are leveraged by regional and local teams.

  • Strong understanding of Brand development and multichannel marketing concepts; excellent digital first marketing capabilities

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, delegate, and meet rigorous deadlines.

  • Effective communicator with proven ability to build relationships and influence across all levels in a global matrix environment.

  • Strong critical thinking, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Team player who is able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Conceptual thinker with a strong business sense.

  • Experience in the Consumer Goods/Personal Care industry

  • Willingness to travel up to 15-20% of scheduled work time.

  • Strong ability to drive world-wide followership.

  • Collaborative leader able to inspire, motivate, and uplift the skills of a global marketing team.

Location

The Senior Director, Global AFC Strategy and Consumer Engagement will be based in North America and ideally in Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA.
