Job Details

Position Summary:

The senior director leads the build and optimization of digital products focused on Catholic Health patients, specifically digital patient access, including online scheduling, Catholic Health MyChart / app, telehealth, and related products. The senior director is responsible for business analysis, product roadmaps, and digital performance analysis. This individual partners with agencies, vendors, and internal product teams to deliver digital solutions that help support patient engagement and meet business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with IT leadership and groups across Catholic Health to define and execute on lifecycle of Catholic Health's digital product strategy and roadmap.

  • Develops a deep understanding of Catholic Health's patients and clinical processes in order to develop requirements for digital product solutions.

  • Leads the product roadmap, optimization timeline, and oversees the build efforts for Catholic Health MyChart and the Catholic Health app, including Epic Gold Stars, MyChart Diamonds, and Honor Roll-related feature rollouts.

  • Leads the roadmap for digital scheduling strategy across platforms, including MyChart and Find a Doctor.

  • Leads the product roadmap, optimization timeline, and oversees the build efforts for Virtual Care and telehealth-related products and features.

  • Performs user requirements gathering activities including business analysis, task analysis, and user interviews.

  • Oversees product work of digital agencies and contractors to ensure that they deliver an optimized digital experience on time and on budget.

  • Oversees work of Catholic Health Epic analysts across different teams within IT, as related to digital product implementation and optimization efforts.

  • Works with data team to advance digital analytics practice by clearly defining objectives and KPIs, providing performance analysis, and developing recommendations for product optimization; continuously evaluates the effectiveness of the conversion funnel(s) to drive improvements.

  • Translates patient needs into new/enhanced product features for product teams; maintain roadmaps for digital engagement products.

  • Aligns digital engagement release plans across product groups.

  • Engages with agile development teams to confirm delivery of high-quality product requirements that clearly map to the patient's needs.

  • Executes on Catholic Health's digital health strategy and works to improve the digital maturity of the health system.

  • Works in close partnership with teams across the health system to launch and scale digital health innovations.

  • Keeps abreast of current digital best practices and engagement tools to support digital innovation at Catholic Health.

  • Contributes to and consistently applies Catholic Health policies, procedures, and benefits to all customers and/or employees without discrimination.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare product management for consumer/patient and clinical/provider-facing products

  • Experience leading multi-functional teams and high-priority projects in a highly complex and matrixed environment

  • Experience working in Epic electronic health record

  • High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean techniques and methodologies

  • Expert understanding of digital product management.

  • Strong understanding of electronic health records (EHRs) including Epic, patient portals, and ambulatory care practice administration tools.

  • Understanding of healthcare scheduling, including online scheduling.

  • Knowledge of user experience, user-centered design, and UI/UX frameworks and processes.

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, CQL, EDI X12, etc.).

  • Ability to drive product analytics to understand feature usage and optimization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Position is moderate and will require sitting for long periods of time interspersed with walking or driving to and from various locations. Excellent verbal and listening skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with others. Ability to bend, stretch, reach, handle/finger delicate items required. Salary Range

USD $235,000.00 - USD $265,000.00 /Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
