The design team works with colleagues across the Fidelity to create spaces that help our associates and our businesses thrive. The Senior Director Design Vendor Management reports into the Head of Strategic Design within the Fidelity Real Estate Company. Fidelity Real Estate provides space for the 50,000 Fidelity employees around the world. This role would be at the forefront of changing the way we work to drive a better associate experience.

The Expertise You Have

  • Degree in design, fine art or architecture preferred

  • Minimum of ten years' experience

  • Industry accreditations and certifications preferred

  • Experience in project and vendor management

  • Experience with transformational and strategic real estate projects

  • Proficient in graphic communication and presentations, including In-Design

This individual will be a lead for the core Power Management design team, participate in design activities, and be instrumental in converting pSemi technology into disruptive products for our target markets. The role will support product during the entire product life cycle from product definition through product release to end-of-life. As part of a cross-functional product development team the Senior Engineer will support other essential disciplines including marketing and applications, project management, characterization, production and test engineering. Roles & Responsibilities This position has responsibility for: * Product Definition: Assist Marketing in defining new products through feasibility studies and technical competitive analyses * Product Design and Evaluation: Schematic Capture, IC layout, Simulation, Package Analysis, Evaluation Board Design, Design Validation, and mentoring junior engineers * Product Documentation: Document all relevant product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage * Product Characterization: Work with Characterization and Test Engineers to define, conduct and analyze data from product performance characterization * Production ATE Development: Work with Test Engineers to define, develop and ramp production ATE solutions * Product Support: Work with Applications, Product, Test and Manufacturing Engineers to help answer customer questions, assess field failures, support yield improvements, etc. * Technology Development: work with Technologists to define the technology roadmap, addressing the performance and functional requirements of the product roadmap Competency Requirements In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: * Critical Thinking: Skilled at finding logical flaws in arguments and plans; identifies problems and solutions that others might miss; provides detailed insight and constructive criticism into problems and complex situations * Working with Ambiguity: Achieves forward progress in the face of poorly defined situations and/or unclear goals; able to work effectively with limited or partial information. * Displaying Technical Expertise: Keeps his/her technical skills current; effectively applies specialized knowledge and skills to perform work tasks; understands and masters the technical skills, knowledge, and tasks associated with his/her job; shares technical expertise with others * Driving for Results: Aggressively pursues challenging goals and objectives; will to put in considerable time and effort to accomplish objectives; takes a highly focused, goal driven approach toward work * Making Accurate Judgments and Decisions: Bases decisions on a systematic review of relevant facts and information; avoids making assumptions or rushing to judgment; provides clear rationale for decisions Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills) * 5 years of experience in analog integrated circuit design and power management circuit design * 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry * Demonstrated working Silicon in more than one foundry process * Solid knowledge of industry standard design conventions and rules in analog circuit design; knowledge in reducing design risk * Solid understanding of analog circuit theory and power management circuits * Capable in refining the product definition * Possess excellent project management skills * Creative and innovative on the architectural level * Excellent analog integrated circuit and power management implementation skills * Track record of thorough implementation and first working Silicon * Experience debugging, probing and characterizing silicon using standard lab equipment * Proficiency in design tools such as Cadence Preferred Qualifications * Participated in at least 5 power management chip products on the market today * Collaborated on at least 10 analog IC chip designs * System level understanding * Experience in a startup environment * Experience in inventions and patent (co-)authorship Education Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's or PhD preferred Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
