Sr Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Job Description The Sr Director of Corporate FP&A is responsible for leading corporate financial planning and reporting.

This includes consolidation of corporate business plans, preparation of corporate finance executive and board financial reports and preparation and reporting of corporate financial KPIs. A person in this role collaborates with senior finance leadership to consolidate and review all plan assumptions to ensure appropriate accountability and clarity, with vigilant attention to cash flow and balance sheet management, sound internal financial control and management of financial risks. They also work across all company functions to ensure decision making within the organization is supported with timely, accurate and insightful information.

This role is responsible to ensure there is a Finance staff that is prepared to provide appropriate insights through analysis. The role is looked upon to provide leadership in creating an environment where business and financial information is accessible, timely, accurate and relevant to the decision-making process. They’ll be expected to be an independent trusted advisor to management through interpreting business results and assessing business risk.

They will be adept at using a variety of tools to carry out their responsibilities including operational and financial systems, P&L and cash flow models, and ROI and portfolio analysis concepts. Manages, prepares, coordinates, and advises the control of the budget. Leads the activities of the financial analyst staff.

Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities • Collaborate with leadership on timely & insightful analysis to drive value-creating business decisions • Provide guidance to global Finance and other partners to optimize Micron’s financial performance • Responsible for financial communications with CEO staff (weekly Flash, qtrly performance, annual plan) • Responsible for the development and tracking of company-wide critical metrics • Provide reporting & analytics for earnings, investor and board communications • Evaluate portfolios and assist in developing strategies to improve enterprise value • Set targets and help develop the company-wide capital allocation strategy • Establish metrics for major investment, advise on economic and strategic benefits Qualifications • Significant exposure to business management and strategic planning activities • Passionate understanding of business and energy to drive improvement • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and ability to work across functional boundaries • A track record of mobilizing a team to identify and implement operational improvements • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • The ability to operate with limited transparency Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field • Post-graduate degree in Finance or Business • 15 years Finance related experience • 5 years of leadership experience The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $137,000.00 - $276,000.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
