The Senior Director, Corporate FP&A provides overall financial management for the Digital Solutions organization. In this role, you will partner with business leaders and assist the DS organization in executing against its organizational, operational, and financial strategies and delivery of profitable growth responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reviewing investments among others. This leadership role is responsible for leading, mentoring and developing an effective finance team, including up-leveling existing cross-functional processes and systems.
What you'll be doing
Business partner to Digital Solutions Business Leader by providing insightful financial and business advice based on sound robust analysis
Ensure a business partner-based approach to financial management with a goal of globalization, standardization and optimization of the underlying processes
Implement best practices, common tools and consistent processes for a geographically dispersed organization
Ensure global consistency of the application of all financial policies, and standard procedures, processes, tools and systems
Monthly & quarterly financial reporting and forecasting financial results, trends and analysis
Partner with VP Strategy and Global Operations for cross-functional effective and compliant processes
Lead a high performing team
Ownership of AOP and forecast process including financial analysis and risk appraisal
Ownership of the accuracy of the function P&L
Full P&L reporting and analysis, including revenue, margin, OPEX and contribution profit
Ownership of all deal structuring in collaboration with controllership
Business decision support on ad hoc investments and other business cases
People management, career development, hiring, coaching and training a world class financial organization that drives results and anticipates business trends
Assess strategic importance and ROI for investment cases and partner with business on prioritization

CFO and global finance leadership team
EC members

What you bring to the team
Minimum 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
Experience with a multi-national, global company
10+ years in hands on business partnership roles able to demonstrate partnership successes
MBA referred
IT or software industry background preferred
Ability to multi-task and work in a matrix environment
Able to work with different cultures, cross functionally and with people in all job levels, including executives
Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, motivate and develop a highly talented finance team
Superior quantitative and analytical skills
Strong analytical and process improvement skills with the ability to identify and implement business improvement and cost reduction opportunities on a continuous basis
Project management skills
Experience working with and developing pricing strategies/structure and price negotiation
Business case development and experience with large deal sizes preferred

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
