The Senior Direct Service Worker will implement the mission of BH Residential Services. He/she will provide all residential services to clients and perform, coordinate and/ or monitor designated programmatic administrative or clinical functions.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support, guidance, support, role modeling and mentorship to clients and staff.
Ensure a clean, sage and home-like environment for clients.
Participate in the development of the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and attend other treatment meetings, including Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) and weekly staff meetings.
Perform interventions with clients that address their identified goals and result in skill development.
Provide linkage with other program staff and other service providers.
Communicate program participants' progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
Monitor and document medication administration.
Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

BA/BS in related field and 2 years' experience; or H.S. Diploma/GED and 3 years related experience.
Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
Excellent interpersonal, judgement and coaching skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to utilize basic computer applications.
Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centered, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
