PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Digital Specialist will oversee the day-to-day operations of corning.com and play an active role in the ongoing evolution of the website. The role will work closely with the Digital Platform Manager, the Digital Experience Specialist, the IT organization, and additional internal customers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation. The individual will also have responsibility collaborating with the content marketing team, building out pages to support the content marketing strategy, and measuring their overall effectiveness.
Oversee the day to day operations of the company website, including page planning and design, global site audits, web content management, and translation processes.
Responsible for website content governance and regular global site content audits.
Oversee SEO from a corporate level, including vendor management and keyword list management.
Facilitate regular meetings to advance Corning's objectives and web projects.
Liaise with communications, brand and commercial business leaders across the enterprise to maintain brand and functional consistency across the platforms.
Provide routine support to CMS user community to resolve technical and non-technical sessions.
Collaborate with marketing, brand and communications leaders to define and enable tracking and reporting of metrics and KPI's for measuring digital program effectiveness.
Deliver on priority web projects as assigned.
Help identify opportunities for digital innovation across marketing, brand and communications strategies to improve audience engagement and customer experience within digital channels.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
6+ years professional relevant digital and web experience in a global organization, familiarity working with different time zones and cultures.
Demonstrated track record in supporting key business objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A detail oriented, motivated team player with strong research and analytical skills.
A successful track record leading web content management and project activities.
Experience with digital content management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager).
Understanding of technical and functional capabilities required for successful digital and website execution.
Demonstrated experience in the support and execution of web platform activities such as content development processes, site design, site architecture and web analytics.
Expertise in supporting large-scale projects, managing competing priorities and adapting quickly to changing needs.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A strong understanding of the platforms related to digital asset creation and digital asset management (Adobe Creative Suite and AEM Digital Asset Management).
Experience with search engine optimization and search engine marketing programs (Organic and Paid Google Search, Google AdWords).
Understanding of website analytics platforms (Google Analytics / 360).
