The Senior Digital Specialist will oversee the day-to-day operations of and play an active role in the ongoing evolution of the website. The role will work closely with the Digital Platform Manager, the Digital Experience Specialist, the IT organization, and additional internal customers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation. The individual will also have responsibility collaborating with the content marketing team, building out pages to support the content marketing strategy, and measuring their overall effectiveness.


  • Oversee the day to day operations of the company website, including page planning and design, global site audits, web content management, and translation processes.

  • Responsible for website content governance and regular global site content audits.

  • Oversee SEO from a corporate level, including vendor management and keyword list management.

  • Facilitate regular meetings to advance Corning's objectives and web projects.

  • Liaise with communications, brand and commercial business leaders across the enterprise to maintain brand and functional consistency across the platforms.

  • Provide routine support to CMS user community to resolve technical and non-technical sessions.

  • Collaborate with marketing, brand and communications leaders to define and enable tracking and reporting of metrics and KPI's for measuring digital program effectiveness.

  • Deliver on priority web projects as assigned.

  • Help identify opportunities for digital innovation across marketing, brand and communications strategies to improve audience engagement and customer experience within digital channels.


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years professional relevant digital and web experience in a global organization, familiarity working with different time zones and cultures.

  • Demonstrated track record in supporting key business objectives.


  • A detail oriented, motivated team player with strong research and analytical skills.

  • A successful track record leading web content management and project activities.

  • Experience with digital content management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager).

  • Understanding of technical and functional capabilities required for successful digital and website execution.

  • Demonstrated experience in the support and execution of web platform activities such as content development processes, site design, site architecture and web analytics.

  • Expertise in supporting large-scale projects, managing competing priorities and adapting quickly to changing needs.


  • A strong understanding of the platforms related to digital asset creation and digital asset management (Adobe Creative Suite and AEM Digital Asset Management).

  • Hands on experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  • Experience with search engine optimization and search engine marketing programs (Organic and Paid Google Search, Google AdWords).

  • Understanding of website analytics platforms (Google Analytics / 360).

Results-driven position with responsibility for the project management of Corning Incorporated's corporate events and assigned executive events. Supervise and develop direct report staff member(s). Special projects, as assigned. Position will work directly with department, other staff groups, customers and vendors to support their goals. Key Responsibilities * Plan and execute assigned executive and corporate events in adherence with established policies and processes to meet customer requirements. Responsible for planning, onsite execution and post-event follow up. Scope includes contingency and risk assessment planning. * Partner with internal and external vendors, such as Corporate Food Services, Media Services, IT, Global Security, and external vendors/venues like Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG), to deliver high-quality events. * Control event budgets to deliver value for the company and customers. * Ability to supervise and develop direct reports (employee and/or contingent). * Manage and execute training program for events team. * Develop professional working relationships with customer base and vendors. * Work with internal procurement team to manage existing suppliers (i.e. hotels, car service) and negotiate contracts with variety of service vendors. * Contribute to department time tracking and metrics programs to drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness. * Utilize Cvent platform to create, launch and monitor registration tools, onsite apps and other deliverables for assigned events. * Leverage department technology platforms (i.e. BOX, SharePoint, room scheduling tool) for event and department assignments. * Ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships.
