Senior Digital Designer- Remote

Grow your career as a Senior Digital Designer within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing successful user interactions through digital design that effectively meets business objectives. You are a master of Digital Creative, tools, and applications, with a solid familiarity with best practices in developing deliverables. This role reports to the Digital Art Director.

A successful Senior Digital Designer will:

• Collaborate with the Digital Art Director to deliver best-in-class designs for deliverables across all channels (B2B and B2C) and mediums including but not limited to: transactional websites, digital ads, emails, web assets, landing pages, social, events, adapting designs for best performance by channel aligning with ALG brand strategy.

• Exhibit exceptional time management, critical thinking, and communication skills.

• Stay current on design trends, innovations, and technology.

• Manage multiple team projects, troubleshoot issues/constraints, and drive a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

• Lead design teams and troubleshoot issues with partners.

• Mentor and inspire junior team members, while helping everyone on the creative team understand and adopt best practices.

• Participate and contribute to brainstorm sessions. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate a commitment to ALG core values.

A successful Senior Digital Designer will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Interactive, Graphic Design or similar

• 5-7 years of digital design as part of an ad agency or in-house team

• Must have online portfolio that displays conceptual thinking and a strong understanding of layout, brand management, color, and typography

• Elevated Typography skills and an eye for detail and quality

• Experience collaborating with Art Directors, web developers, marketing managers and project managers

• Expert Knowledge of mobile/browser/platform constraints and how they affect design

• Understanding and ability to lead the creative and digital production process

• Proven project organization and time management skills

• Microsoft Office: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

• Proficient in UX/UI design

• Flexible and comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Additional Required Experience:

• Expert knowledge in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

• Proficient in UX /UI tools (Sketch, XD)

• Working knowledge of CRM and email tools (HubSpot, Pushtech)

• Experience with Project Management Tools (Workfront)

• Animation

• Experience working and creating for international markets

• Spanish fluency a plus, but not required

• Knowledge of CMS (EpiServer, AEM, Wordpress), JavaScript, PHP

• Working knowledge in and HTML5 and CSS
