Responsibilities & Skills

Location:

San Jose, California

Position Duties:

Designs new digital hardware products and creates the circuitry that is necessary for the products to function. Specific duties include: • Develop micro-architecture spec and write RTL code for re-usable blocks of medium to large complexity• Integrate internal IP and 3rd party IP into a sub-system• Take ownership of existing design blocks and improve them as necessary• Use RTL coding style that is amenable for creating re-usable IP• Use front end implementation and analysis tools to assure the quality of the design• Collaborate with cross-functional teams• Participate in silicon bring-up

Minimum Requirements:

MS in Electrical Engineering or related field

5 years of experience as design or electronics engineer

Prior experience to include:• Digital design• Verilog• Simulation• RTL compiler or other synthesis tool• Mixed Signal• Logic Design• DFT• EDA tools• Verification• PERL or other programming language
