We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer for our Atlanta location and California location. This is a full-time opportunity.
The Lead DevOps Engineer supports the Product Development teams through their Agile life cycle and take our in-house applications from design to full production rollout. You will be responsible for designing, architecting and implemention of next generation system architecture and automation solutions. Maintain and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments. Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing
You will ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet customer business specifications and support the strategic direction of the enterprise.
The software solutions team moves quickly and expects all team members to manage their time effectively.
The lead DevOps engineer should be self-directed, self-starter and professional in their interactions with others.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT, Atlassian BitBucket/Stash
Hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, this is NOT an entry level opportunity for fresh graduates. Strong background in cloud and virtualization - Pivotal Cloud foundry (PCF) and AWS
Experience with provisioning using Puppet, Chef, or similar tools. Experience with Splunk.
Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards
Strong background in security, network protocols and Linux configuration
Experience in working with both physical and virtual environments.
Research and evaluate new technologies to help improve our business objectives
Develop of tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform
Lead the design and building of a fully automated self-service platform in AWS, but that could also work in a hybrid cloud environment
Continuously improve our infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant.
Prefer experience in the payment/credit card industry.
