Senior Devops Engineer (Ci/Cd Pipeline)

Architect, plan, implement and operate the overall systems deployment, as well as development of any necessary build, deployment, and operational and monitoring tools to automate the day-to-day functioning of the deployment to the maximum extent possible. Build and maintain software and automation tools to increase software deployment frequency and reduce the lead time for changes.

Take primary ownership for build, deploy, and monitoring automation of the team's apps. Help the Engineering Teams take increasing ownership of build, deploy, and monitoring automation of their apps through active communication and informal training. Work as part of the Engineering Teams to contribute to the design of the team's apps.

Drive continual improvement in our build, deploy, and monitoring tools and services by working collaboratively with the CI/CD Pipeline team. Assist the team in coordinating with Systems Engineering and SRE teams on physical infrastructure requirements and dependencies. Deploy appropriate CI/CD tools.

Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline). Set up tools and required infrastructure. Review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project. Troubleshoot techniques and fixing the code bugs.

Encourage and build automated processes. Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers. Conduct testing of changes/improvements made to our systems and features to identify bugs in early stages.

This position is eligible for remote work in the following states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, ID, KS, ME, MA, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY.

Salary: $135,803 - $186,550 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving systems development and deployment.

Must also have experience in the following: 4 years of professional experience performing Linux administration in a large-scale SaaS environment; 4 years of professional experience operating and improving pipeline tools including Jenkins and GitLab; 3 years of professional experience developing high quality technology products or services in a fast-paced environment; 2 years of professional experience integrating multiple disparate systems via custom scripting, including Bash Scripting, and automation tools, including Jenkins; 2 years of professional experience programming using Python or Java; 2 years of professional experience shell scripting; 2 years of professional experience maintaining production systems on major cloud IaaS including AWS; 2 years of professional experience using configuration management (including Puppet and Ansible; and 2 years of professional experience with containerization in large-scale SaaS environment including Docker and Kubernetes.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
