Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Development and execution of various biophysical methods to support protein, AAV, RNP, LNP and drug product characterization, release, and stability.
  • Work collaboratively with Research to perform assay development and optimization
  • Opportunity to spearhead one or multiple assay development projects.
  • Support testing of various samples as needed.
  • Cross-train personnel on assays, as required.
  • Meticulous documentation in electronic lab notebook (ELN).
  • Compile and present data in various meetings.
  • Assist in authoring and reviewing of test methods, technical reports, and supporting procedures.
  • Assist in the technical transfer of assays to Quality Control or central testing laboratories.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:

  • Experience and/or familiarity with HPLC/UHPLC assay development is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with protein or peptide analytical techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, prioritize assignments, and adjust priorities to meet goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Relevant Work Experience:

  • Bachelors in a life sciences discipline such as Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 0 2 years of experience
