Senior Developer

Job Summary:

Trilogy Innovations is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Developer to provide remote support to our federal customer based in Cape May, NJ. This role serves in a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of digital twin solutions across various industries.

The Senior Developer possesses a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in backend and frontend development, as well as experience working with IoT technologies, data analytics, and cloud platforms, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and robust digital twin systems that leverage cutting-edge technologies to replicate and monitor physical assets or processes in real-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and architect digital twin solutions, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Backend Development: Develop backend systems and APIs to collect, process, and store data from IoT sensors, simulation models, and external sources, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Frontend Development: Design and develop user interfaces (UIs) and visualization dashboards to present real-time data and insights generated by digital twin systems, using modern frontend frameworks and libraries.

• IoT Integration: Integrate with IoT devices and sensors to capture real-world data and feed it into the digital twin platform, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.

• Data Analytics: Implement algorithms and analytics engines to analyze and interpret data collected by digital twin systems, enabling predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization of asset performance.

• Cloud Computing: Deploy digital twin solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud services for storage, computation, and scalability.

• DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies to streamline the development and deployment of digital twin applications.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of digital twin systems through rigorous testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.

• Documentation and Collaboration: Document code, design decisions, and technical specifications, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.

• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with a focus on backend and frontend development for complex systems or applications.

• Experience with AI and Machine Learning.

• Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#, as well as experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, Node.js, .NET).

• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Knowledge of IoT protocols and technologies (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, OPC UA) and experience integrating with IoT devices and sensors.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, D3.js).

• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, using services like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT Core.

• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) for version control, continuous integration, and deployment automation.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
