In Developer Relations, we collaborate and connect with communities that love technology as much as we do. Our team interacts with developers across the globe both at conferences as well as online, and advocates for third-party developer interests and needs internally at Google. Our focus is on supporting third-party developers who build applications and businesses on Google's platforms. You might write sample code, author libraries, or work with strategic Google partners to facilitate and organize our developer communities.

As a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, you will join our team to connect with developers and speak publicly about cutting-edge technologies on conference panels, at user groups, on blogs, and with the press. Your work will foster a community of developers integrating with Google technologies and will help drive strategy around Developer Relations.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

  • Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or equivalent technical experience.

  • Experience in technical consulting or in a community engagement capacity.

  • Experience working with JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, Go, iOS, Android Mobile App development, and/or web technologies.

This position As a Senior Software Engineer on the Tools and Technologies team, you will partner with business, operations, IT and product stakeholders to build highly visible applications and tools that are integral to our customers and business. This position demands critical thinking skills and the ability to understand existing systems while working in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be responsible for the architecture, development and implementation of Salesforce enhancements, in-house developed tools, and 3rd party app integrations to deliver efficient, scalable platforms that enable best in class product support. You will also build self-service data solutions to address stakeholders' data analytics needs. As a senior level member of the team, you will drive improvements to the Customer Success ecosystem by championing the perspectives of customers and support experts, make data driven decisions, and drive KPIs for reliability and scale along with customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Director, Customer Success Tools and Technologies. Responsibilities ● Write high quality, shippable, easy to maintain code across the stack ● Adopt, enforce and enhance the use of tools, applications and processes for an efficient Agile development process (i.e., code management, code reviews, automated unit/functional/regression testing, Continuous Integration/Delivery, etc.) ● Influence architectural decisions, technology selection, design of scalable solutions, and risk mitigation strategies impacting production systems, applications and tools. ● Design, develop, test, and maintain data integrations leveraging web APIs. ● Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETLs. Basic Qualifications ● 8+ years experience as a software engineer ● 6+ years professional experience building complex, scalable web and database applications ● 1+ years development experience with Salesforce Lightning (including Apex, SOQL and ancillary technologies). ● Experience with C#, SQL, ASP. NET, Python or any modern programming language ● Experience building/consuming RESTful web-services ● Strong experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular, REACT, JQuery, etc. ● Experience with CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and MVC ● Experience with Git, CI/CD and deployment tools. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and the willingness and ability to rapidly learn new technologies and tool sets ● BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications ● Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available systems ● Experience with the design and operation of large-scale cloud services ● Strong experience with Salesforce reporting and Salesforce API development ● Experience with Authentication and Authorization development (OAuth 2.0) ● Experience with Kusto and Azure data environments ● Experience in Agile and Test-driven development methodologies ● Ability and desire to move across technology stacks fluently and easily ● Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time About DocuSign DocuSign® helps organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements.
