We are seeking a talented Senior Designer to join our creative team. Our Senior Designer will be responsible for creating digital and print solutions for consumers, B2B and everyone in between. We are looking for someone who understands design and possesses a sophisticated aesthetic sense that works across multiple applications, a dedication to curiosity and learning and, most of all, a passion for the convergence of design and technology.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record that focuses on bringing a client's communication goals to life in the most engaging ways possible. You'll be responsible for ideas and execution of design solutions including social media, websites, print collateral, presentations, email marketing, brand identity and video.
About the job
Develop concepts and designs for a variety of clients including but not limited to consumer products, electronics and enterprise technology
Partner with President, SVP's, senior leadership, strategists, copywriters, producers and account teams
Understand the best practices associated with design, color, grids and typography
Work effectively across different media channels, including digital, print and video
Contribute your ideas and work as part of an integrated, bi-coastal agency team
Juggle projects ranging from existing client work to new business pursuits
Present and defend creative solutions and design rationale to clients and executives
Creative and design responsibilities for client work across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.)
Ability to think strategically, conceptualize creatively and see the campaign concepts through
Meet with clients to present creative rationale
Provide creative direction for clients including visual assets, photography selection, and font style to follow established brand guidelines with accuracy
Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends
Ability to manage and track projects to meet deadlines accordingly
Produce design solutions, as well as educate and mentor other designers to do the same
Conceptualize installations and activations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Graphic design, multimedia or related discipline preferred.
A minimum of 5+ years of design experience
Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual visual ideas and execute against them to create solutions in a highly collaborative environment
Thorough understanding of best practices in design, color and typography
Strong presentation and communication skills
Experience art directing junior designers
Knowledge of social media trends and best practices of digital content creation, distribution and syndication
Ability to integrate feedback
Software expertise including Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
Front end web design & development including hand coding HTML and CSS
Digital or advertising agency experience
Photography and lighting skills
