Our Whippany office is small but we partner with a Design Engineering Team of over 125 diverse professionals who have some of the best minds in the business and we want you to be a part of that team.

This position is an opportunity for someone who likes to do it all. This is a position that spans both Mechanical and Electrical Design as well as all aspects of Document Control. You will convert customer specifications for electrical and mechanical engineering concepts to practical RF, Digital or mixed technology mechanical and PCB design solutions.

If this is appealing to you, join us! Responsibilities As part of our dynamic engineering and manufacturing team, you will design new state of the art products, as well as maintain documentation for our current products in production. This will involve:

Creating CAD models of parts and assemblies in support of new product design and development. Generating documentation, drawings, and layouts in support of new product design and development. Generating Engineering Change Orders to maintain engineering documentation.

Incorporation of drawing changes of existing product documentation. Creating supporting illustrations and documentation for product assembly fixtures, procedures and proposals. Performing Document Control function by distributing of Engineering Change Orders and Controlled Prints.

Performing other tasks, as required, to support engineering and production documentation efforts. Ability to work in a team environment Qualifications You combine a solid theoretical background in RF/Microwave theory with creative and critical thinking. To join us you'll need:

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical design This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S.

Government export license. This position will require the ability to gain security clearance. Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of experience with mechanical CAD design software (Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks) or similar CAD applications Two years of experience with PCB design CAD tools (Altium, Orcad, Mentor Graphics Pads) or similar CAD applications Self-starter that works independently on assigned task Good organization skills Working knowledge of Mil Specification and Standards Strong oral and written communication skills to interface with key internal and external customers Strong analytical skills Associates Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred Requires a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to design and deliver highly advanced solutions Background in defense industry Salary Range: Designer III: $71,316 - $100,688 annually. Designer IV: $81,300 - $114,777 annually.
