Lead Reporting & Analytics (DP)
Lead and own DP reports and analytics, including but not restricted to:
Policies for demand segmentation and classification assignment
KPIs and RCA process
Monthly demand planning reports: event library, month over month evolution, new product launch tracker, sell in/sell thru YTD/YTG
Support global Demand Planning teams on all analytics needs
Lead Kinaxis Data & Analytics (DP)
Own demand plan disaggregation matrix (size, weekly, DC split, etc.) and ensure up to date with network (sourcing, DC) changes while auditing and improving accuracy
Audit and own analysis of demand planning parameters used for stat modeling and identify opportunities for improvement
Propose improvement to forecasting methodology by running forecast value add analysis
Maintain seasonality profile at different levels of the product and customer hierarchy and throughout the lifecycle, improving when needed
Define, audit, and improve the alerts and exception messages to enable planning by exception
Propose and run scenarios of demand planning parameters to improve KPIs
Collaborate with DP leader to lead, test, and execute improvement plans
Kinaxis Subject Matter Expert
Serve as the super user for data, analytics, and reporting for DP
Connect with IT Brooks and Kinaxis team on issues relating to data, analytics & reporting in the system
Brings continuous improvement ideas for Kinaxis capabilities to DP Operational Excellence Lead
Support implementation of Kinaxis design, build, testing, and deployment
Onboard and train new team members on the "Kinaxis X process"
Mentor and train team members and cross-functional partners on the tools, Kinaxis
Ensure good quality of the operational demand plan and ensure right delivery for Demand Planning customers:
Ensure reference data needed for DP is properly collected and available in Kinaxis to support the DP collaborative process
Audit and control quality of input and challenge X-functional teams for accuracy and process efficiency
Ensure all demand owned by cross-functional teams (APLA, no charge, trailhead) is captured in the Demand Plan
Coach DP teams to transform data into stories to increase quality of collaboration with DP stakeholders
Ensure that the demand plan is properly submitted to the Supply Chain, Business and Financial communities per agreed process, driving problem solving when issue and improvement as needed
Support Demand Planning continuous improvement
Lead all demand planning reports and analytics continuous improvement, including DP Ops needs or operationalization of DP operational excellence standards
Lead and support the documentation of key processes and procedures
Contribute to the Global Demand Planning Community by developing Demand Planning Excellence program and participating in cross-functional project teams
Mentor and train team members and cross-functional partners on the tools, systems, and processes within the Integrated Planning team
Support S&OP process
Assist Demand Planning Team in preparing and facilitating monthly (pre) Demand Review
Assist Demand Planning Team in preparing S&OE content
Support Data & Analytics (IP)
Support Global IP data, analytics, and reporting needs on an ad hoc basis
Partner with other IP data and analytics Sr analyst for synergies, consistency, and efficiencies
Cross train with MSP Sr analyst data & analytics to backfill tasks when/if needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline or equivalent combination of experience
5+ years of experience in a planning related field including:
2+ years of demand planning analyst with data and analytics in a planning system experience
Or 2+ years of demand planning data and analytics responsibilities within a planning system (ideally Kinaxis)
2+ years of super user for a demand planning system
Familiar with demand planning parameters optimization and forecast value add
Forecast bias, forecast accuracy metrics, and root cause analysis
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with an aptitude for report-building, data mining, interpretation and recommendations based on their own analysis.
Strong computer and quantitative skills, including:
Kinaxis or other supply chain planning systems with statistical modelling (SAP APO, O9, Anaplan, Logility)
Knime, Tableau, SQL and Power BI or any other Data warehouse/analytics system
Excel -Advanced level
ERP
Experienced with business process mapping
Ability to work cross-functionally, demonstrating strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Displays strong initiative with a curiosity for learning and challenging the norm with an innovative mindset
Excellent Continuous Improvement/ problem-solving skills and a resourceful professional style
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation:
The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $96,358 - $144,538 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
