The Senior Delivery Manager will:
Lead and manage multiple, cross functional, client services, and potentially highly complex projects and/or technical initiatives.
Act as a client-facing trusted advisor to internal and external customers.
Lead project teams and facilitate delivery processes balancing efficiency and effectiveness of approach (simplicity, predictability, suitability) including utilization of Agile and/or Lean practices where appropriate.
Partner with IT PMO and TMO resources to manage business requirements activities including resource planning, schedule adherence, prioritization, scope documentation, technical business requirements, reporting and escalation.
Partner with IT PMO and TMO resources to manage project and software release management activities including resource planning, prioritization, project plan/schedule development, executive status reporting, risk management, issue management, deployment and escalation. Coordinate hand-off from project development to support team.
Collaborate with business and IT leadership stakeholders regarding strategic Roadmap items and develop release plans optimized for schedule and feature development.
Create and drive the software development schedule, defining which features will be delivered on what timelines, and working with the entire team to determine dates for deployment.
5+ years of Project or Program Management experience in complex environments
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Must be self-directed with an ability to manage change effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong proactive communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent grammar
Naturally organized and extremely detail-oriented
Able to present technically challenging topics to C-level executives, as well as to those unfamiliar with the technology in a simplified, easy-to-understand manner
Willingness to travel
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
