Senior Decision Support Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Decision Support Analyst to join our Decision Support team. The Senior Decision Support Analyst prepares statistical analysis and reports to assist key leaders across the enterprise with business or operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Works with all levels of internal customers including market C-suite and Ardent C-level Executives

• Ability to understand complex report request and translate the request into robust reports

• Expertise in multiple hospital operational areas (examples include but not limited to: OR, ER, Oncology, facility and department level stats, payor trending, transfer center)

• Expertise in running reports from multiple platforms (examples include but not limited to: Epic Operational Reports, Epic Caboodle, Epic cubes, SmartView/PBCS, Business Objects)

• Ability to build in one or more tools (Power BI, Epic, Future Data Warehouse platform)

• Analyzes and summarizes data in a meaningful format for C-level review while providing insight into data summaries and highlighting key trends/variances

• Provides reports at a market and company level

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of work experience in decision support in a healthcare organization

• Financial acumen & strong analytical skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently with a low to medium level of supervision/guidance
