As a result of our continued success, we are seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to join the Data Analytics Branch at one of our Government clients. The candidate will work closely with application and data owners to ingest data from their systems and will work to develop reports based on the available ingested data. The enterprise reporting user base includes the internal Business Group, NOC Group, Engineering Group, Front Office, external customer base of the organization, etc.

The organization this position supports manages a system of integrated telecommunications networks in an effort to provide secure, reliable, and robust communications capabilities to United States Government Departments and agencies operating from Diplomatic and Consular facilities outside of the United States. Some of the services they offer their end customers include terrestrial, satellite and internet services, international direct-dialing, and Voice over IP (VOIP).

Job duties:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for data analytics for the customer

  • Utilize statistical techniques to analyze and extract relevant information from large data sets

  • Develop algorithms to predict failures with Network Devices and server hardware

  • Provide guidance to the data analytics team in the areas of data extraction and reporting

  • Monitoring actual results against plan/forecast

  • Explaining variances analysis

  • Reporting and analyzing key metrics
  • Interfacing with all stakeholder

  • Work with a Business Analyst to gather and flesh out customer requirements for new reporting requests

  • Managing the development and operations of the enterprise reporting and data warehousing solutions supporting the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years combined experience with analytics, IT, systems, network or software engineering

  • 8+ years of Reporting and Data Warehouse experience.

  • Experience working with MicroStrategy 10.2+ or similar tool

  • Knowledge of Data Management systems, data sources and data architectures

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to document and translate complex technical terminology, concepts and issues to technical and non-technical staff
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and organizational skills

  • Experience developing Analytics/Dashboards/Reports/Visualizations

  • Experience installing data analytics tools including application, configuration, security and administration

  • Data Warehouse, Data Modeling, OLAP cubes, Data Mart experience

  • Experience with Oracle, SQL server databases

  • Performance tuning, scaling of database experience

  • Ability to write complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, algorithms independently

  • Linux experience

  • IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL experience

  • Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Experience working with Splunk

  • Understanding of Network performance management is a plus

  • Experience working with wide area and local area network data

  • Experience working in Amazon Webs Services (AWS) Cloud and the analytical tools available in AWS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Clearance

  • Must be within five years of the last clearance investigation.

As a result of our continued success, we are looking for a motivated Enterprise Architect with Network Engineering experience to support our end customer which manages a system of integrated telecommunications networks in an effort to provide secure, reliable, and robust communications capabilities to United States Government Departments and agencies operating from Diplomatic and Consular facilities outside of the United States. Some of the services they offer their end customers include terrestrial, satellite and internet services, international direct-dialing, and Voice over IP (VOIP). The Network Solutions Architect will be responsible for supporting the Terrestrial Networks Domain Architects and Tech Directors in long-range planning and projects in addition to short-range tactical efforts. They will develop and revise plans and layouts for network communications solutions to be delivered to customers on our global data communications network. The Architect will present plans to the team's Domain Architects and the Tech Director for review and feedback, and ready them for presentation at delivery project control gates. Considerations and requirements for network security will be developed in collaboration with the organization's Information Assurance and Cyber Security staff. This position requires demonstrated excellent customer relations and network engineering skills. The preferred candidate will have very strong oral and written communication skills. He/She must be confident and comfortable working in an environment with undefined processes, changing requirements and be able to quickly adapt and help bring structure and results to support the customer mission. The ideal candidate would have qualified experience with designing wide area networks and knowledge of new technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN). Job duties: * Develop expectations and requirements for hardware and software to support the needs of the various solutions network designs. * Responsible for designing solution architectures for transition to project teams for execution within the framework of the designed models. * Develop models to predict future network needs including: * reviews of current data traffic * estimating growth * considering the needs of traffic routing and shaping * build outs of new technologies including Software Defined Networks and SD-WAN. * Produce detailed documentation and graphics to articulate the details of solutions, roadmaps, and strategies. * Clearly communicate complex technical issues to various audiences, facilitate discussions, and gain consensus. * Help transform both the enterprise environment and the organization behind it. Position Qualifications: * 8+ years of IT and networks experience, both in the field and in an Engineering and Design organization * Expert knowledge of Global Wide Area Networks * 4+ years' experience as a Systems or Enterprise Architect * Excellent communication skills in technical, business, and client interactions * Proven ability in working with a multi-discipline team comprised of one or more of the following disciplines: Systems, Software, or Network Engineering * Proven ability as a process advocate and SME, including excellent skills in Configuration Management * Demonstrated ability to develop and convey recommended solutions to clients to resolve issues * Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment * Experienced developing architectural and design artifacts, especially architectural modeling * Experience developing tier 1 and detailed requirements Desired Skills: * Experience with industry standard and U.S. Gov.
