JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop and implement a set of techniques including data analysis, model prototyping, model evaluation (offline/online), training data set, automation, and maintenance to transform raw data into meaningful information.

Collaborate with search and data engineering, web and marketing analysts, data analysts, project managers, systems team, and other contractors/consultants. Build machine learning models, write code using various statistical techniques. Maintain all the code in repository, develop visualization of data integrations with visualization tools, share the findings with the team.

Communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and NLP techniques across other business verticals. Mentor junior team members. Position is 100% remote

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Masters Degree in Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or related occupation.

Alt. employer will accept a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or related occupation. Must also possess some experience with: Programming Languages:

SQL, R, Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciKit-learn, Seaborn, SciPy, NLTK, Matplotlib), SAS; Machine Learning/Deeplearning: Pytroch, Tensorflow, Keras; Cloud tools; AWS: Athena, GLUE.Sagemaker; BI/Analytic Tool:

Tableau, SPSS, SAS, RStudio, Jupyter, Minitab, ExcelAWS, Spotfire, Power BI Tableau; Predictive Analytics (machine learning algorithms), Data Mining (Cluster analysis, Logistic/Multivariate Regression), Statistical Modelling (Hypothesis testing), Trend Analysis, Forecasting ETL (Extract, Transform & Load), CNN, RNN.NLP; and Big Data Eco system: Hive, Pyspark, sparkSQL.
