This company thrives on data-driven strategies to refine marketing performance and maximize revenue.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact SEM initiatives, crafting innovative solutions redefining digital marketing efficiency and advertising spending strategies. THE ROLE As a Senior Data Scientist – SEM Optimization, you will develop and implement machine learning models to improve ad performance. Your work will involve large-scale data analysis, bidding strategy optimization, and automated SEM process development, all of which will directly impact how the company allocates its marketing budget.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Design and deploy predictive models to enhance SEM bidding strategies, optimizing spend and ROAS targets. Streamline and automate SEM campaign structures to improve scalability and performance. Conduct in-depth analysis of SEM data to drive strategic decisions for marketing and finance teams.
Apply machine learning methodologies across multiple marketing channels, including Search, CRM, and Display. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SEM strategies with broader business objectives. Identify campaign inefficiencies and develop AI-powered solutions to boost performance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 4 years of hands-on SEM experience, including campaign management, bidding strategies, and structuring. Strong background in data science and machine learning, particularly in bidding optimization, spend forecasting, and Target ROAS modeling. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R for data analysis and predictive modeling.
Solid understanding of statistical methodologies, including A/B testing and performance analysis. Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI. Marketplace or eCommerce experience preferred, particularly within a B2C environment.
