Job Description & Qualifications
Responsible for implementing and managing the day-to-day needs of the data governance and data quality program. Recommend and implement policies and procedures for data governance approved by the Data Governance council and Data Governance team. Identify data quality opportunities and drive compliance with data governance and quality initiatives. Ensure data governance opportunities are identified and addressed throughout the project life cycle.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Executes the implementation of approved data definitions, policies, standards, process data access, and dashboard statistics.
Facilitates requests to change configurations, use, or design of data elements for specific area of influence. Conducts testing and user acceptance of new system functionality.
Analyzes and identifies data sources, data, redundancy, and implements processes to remediate data issues and /or data clean-up efforts.
Supports governance principles, policies, and stewardship within the business.
Develops and distributes data quality dashboard.
Scopes, resources, and manages data quality initiatives.
Participates in and reviews all system enhancements and new technologies for data needs, use, and redundancies.
Nature and Scope
Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Join our world class Data Governance team in our Atlanta, GA facility. In the team of 18, you will focus your energies on the gathering information from internal business process stakeholders, conducting business process analysis, creating and documenting processes & policies around these and other strategic initiatives.
Bachelor's degree is Preferred
Data Governance program experience preferred.
Strong experience working with Customer, Vendor and/or Material Master Data business definitions, impact analysis and data lineage).
5+ years of progressive data analysis, process improvement and data best practices in large enterprise environments.
SAP ECC, CRM, and/or S/4.
SAP MDM or MDG, BI strongly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong Excel, MS Access and Visio skills.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries is a plus.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, delivered to all levels within a large organization.
