Your role at Clorox:
Clorox's Enterprise Data Strategy and Operations team is seeking a talented Data Solutions Architect to work in our Data Engineering squad and lead the Data & Analytics pipeline work that will equip, enable and empower our business with high-value enterprise data assets.
We are looking for an analytical big-picture thinker who is driven to enhance and further our integrated data fabric by leveraging and delivering technology to business and cross-functional stakeholders across the enterprise. In this role, you will:
Lead data engineering initiatives leveraging cloud services to automate data ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming) along with automated testing, deployments, and monitoring
Architect and design solutions for data engineering initiatives
Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud data platforms and data services
Work closely with Enterprise Analytics product owners to deliver Analytics products for the enterprise(ADA)
Work with the DataOps team for code migration and continuous improvements
Serve as delivery lead for a team of onsite/offshore data engineers and data analysts
Provide data engineering and data analysis services to business functions to solve problems through the right data and insights
Help educate and train the junior data team to grow in their career
Apply a product mindset and product design thinking to build data as products
Partner with the business to define a value-generation roadmap and deliver MVPs of data products across data domains
Build product sense for data products while measuring user adoption, -growth, -retention, and data product quality
Play a key role in building out our enterprise cloud data platform through expert knowledge of cloud service offerings that fit into Clorox's Integrated Data Fabric roadmap
What we look for:
7+ years of data and technology experience, with at least 4 years in solution architecture and data engineering.
4+ years of Experience with Big Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing (Kimball/Inman/RDBMS), Wide Tables, Data Modeling, Report/Dashboard Building
4+ years of experience in Cloud Data Infrastructure: Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Datalake, AzureFunctions, Logic App) or AWS(Glue,S3,Athena,Lamda,Quicksight,EMR)
Experience working with various modern data tech stacks like Azure Data Factory, Databricks Delta Lakehouse , Azure Synapse Analytics, Google Data Flow, Data Prep, Python-based integrations, Integration Run Times, MuleSoft Integration Platform, API led Integrations, etc.
Extensive hands-on experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust data analytics solutions using Spark, Delta Lake framework, Azure/GCP/AWS Big data services, Databricks, and other tools & technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in gathering and documenting comprehensive business requirements
Extensive experience in data modeling and database design involving any combination of data warehousing and business intelligence systems and tools
Expert knowledge in SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, and SparkSQL development frameworks
Expert-level experience in writing ANSI SQL, T-SQL, PLSQL or HIVE SQL-based complex queries and data aggregation and transformation
Experience with API-led data integrations
Experience in working/delivering analytics using Power BI and Tableau
Excellent collaboration, communication, and visual design skills
Additional preferred qualifications
Experience working in a DevOps practice
Innovation mindset
Understanding of data governance, data quality management, data custodianship, and data regulations like GDPR/CCPA
Experience working with massively parallel processing (MPP) architectures
Experience with query processing engines like those of Delta Lake, Presto, Azure Synapse, Denodo, etc.
Exposure to the Azure cloud services stack including serverless stack
Experience with ITSM, release management and change management practices
Experience working in Agile or SAFE Agile team structures

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100
Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100
Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100
