Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer We are looking for an experienced Data Software Engineer to spearhead the development and optimization of distributed data systems. In this role, you will architect and manage structured and NoSQL data systems, design relational databases, and optimize performance for large-scale data operations.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on NodeJS Engineer with extensive experience in data queries. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for web applications using Node.js Managing Structured Data Systems (defining fixed formats and general data structures that will apply to multiple data sets) Architecting and Designing Relational and NoSQL data structures Collaborate with front-end developers and back-end developers to build efficient ETL pipelines and ensure seamless integration Requirements: 8 years of experience as a Full Stack or Back End Engineer Strong proficiency with NodeJS Expert knowledge of databases and SQL; noSQL and relational databases, Postgres Knowledgeable of design and architecture of data systems Familiar with working with the AWS platform Experience with ETL pipeline creation and management Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows Experience writing unit tests Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or similar field Location: Mountain View, CA (hybrid onsite schedule) Type: Full-time Salary Range: $190-220k (DOE) Submit resume to jobsOSIengineering.com
