Senior Data Engineer

Looking for your next opportunity? Our Client is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Ottawa! If you are looking for a new challenge, professional growth and fulfill the following qualifications, this is a role for you!QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum College Diploma/Certificate with a concentration in Business, Administration, or Information Technology, or a combination of education and related experience.
• 10+ years of experience data engineering, developing, and implementing data and analytical solutions, specifically requiring data migration from legacy systems. This experience would be in roles and projects with increasing complexity in application.
• Strong experience in data engineering with a focus on data migration using PySpark and DataBricks
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, ADLS and DataBricks
• Knowledge of DB2 and SQL based operational database
• Certifications (Data Bricks) is an asset
• Experience developing in cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure environment)
