Job Summary and Qualifications

Senior Data Engineer utilizes data knowledge expertise, healthcare knowledge and skills to ensure Parallon Data Engineering program objectives and requirements are met. This role requires a mix of strategic engineering and design, along with hands-on technical work and problem-solving skills, passion for quality, security, automation, and skills to understand complex systems with a desire for continual improvement and innovation.

• Must have 5+ years' experience as ETL data engineer

• Develop software applications using cloud technologies and on-prem tools such as GCP, BI, Teradata, Azure, SSIS, and DMX.

• Use GCP Dataflow, BigQuery SQL, Python, SQL, Stored procedures to create jobs for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data into Data Warehouses, GCP BigQuery or Azure SQL Server.

• Participates in large-scale development projects involving multiple areas outside of core team

• Leads efforts to design, development, deploy, and support software systems. Coordinate statistical data analysis, design and data flow with data science team.

• Conduct root cause analysis and automate data analytical tasks for better performance and system health. Implement new monitoring methods and ensure SLA is met.

• Leads and closely collaborates with team members to successfully execute development initiatives using Agile practices and principles

• Use GCP tools, Azure, Stored procedures to create jobs for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data into Data Warehouses, Cloud SQL, and Power apps flow to automate jobs

• Serve as technical and data advisor to oversee and evaluate development initiatives across various platforms within the department. Manage development and performance of unit test plans for application testing. Collaborate with the appropriate process teams for QA and user acceptance testing of application changes. Utilize change management processes for implementation and support of supported applications.

• Strong analytics, problem solving, data relationship and communication skills working with other technical teams within the organization to ensure supported applications meet the business needs and standards.

• Facilitate effective communication among all team members and leadership to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations, and requirements

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Data Engineering Team and SDS Team

• Manage business data and its reporting. Work across multiple stakeholders to identify and present high-level analytics to key-stakeholders and executives

• Must possess a strong understanding of current agile development methodologies

• Performs other duties as assigned

• UiPath Certification preferred
