Role Overview: We're seeking a Senior Data Consultant to join our Business Development team and lead customer/prospect pilot programs. This role requires organizing, analyzing, and presenting large datasets to support the sales cycle. You'll work closely with Business Development Executives to prepare data for customer presentations and analysis, collaborate across departments, and directly interact with customers to explain your data findings. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, you'll play a key role in driving successful customer acquisitions.

Who You Are:

  • Deep interest in and knowledge of emerging data trends impacting/likely to impact commercial insurers, distributors, and customers

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting finding

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically, with a team, in a problem-solving environment

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and management skills, self-starter with little need for oversight

What You'll be Doing:

  • Lead Convr AI pilots, which includes managing the pilot execution with customer data, and delivering pilot results to customer in summary and detailed formats

  • Execute data runs through platform and organize data into meaningful customer summary

  • Organize and analyze data across multiple dimensions based on customer process

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets

  • Present data to BD team and collaborate to build plan and deliverable for client readout

  • Tie data findings back to customer's positive business outcomes and Convr AI's capabilities

  • Participate in customer calls and meetings

  • Be an expert regarding customer questions and concerns

  • Meet with customers to grasp their challenges, goals, and overall business situation

  • Support offshore deliverables.

  • Continuously learn and update your knowledge within our field to provide the best possible advice to customers

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

  • 5+ years of experience in a presales role at a SaaS company managing large enterprise customers OR 5+ years of experience working in a Commercial P&C company with operations and underwriting technology

  • 5+ years of Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint

  • Due to the collaborative nature of the position, we seek a candidate located in a time zone that facilitates seamless communication with our team (Eastern or Central preferred).
