We are looking for a result-oriented Senior Data Analyst, Sales Analytics for helping lead analytics on our B2B products that are used by thousands of real estate professionals to drive billions of dollars in transactions.

As a Senior Data Analyst - Sales Analytics, you will join our high-visibility Analytics team which helps optimize revenues for Realtor.com. You will collaborate with sales, product, finance, and technology functions to help develop, implement and automate new and improved sales processes, pricing and go to market strategies for our products. You will also help drive and share operational and strategic insights from an analysis of sales and customer data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify:

  • (i) critical business problems and opportunities as they relate to sales, pricing, forecasting, marketing, and all other customer-related and revenue-related issues;

  • (ii) the relevant KPIs to track, and translate business questions to highly-sophisticated analytical frameworks and functional models.

  • Help segment customers and build predictive models to understand causes of customer churn, develop strategies to reduce cancellations and increase renewal rates

  • Help develop and implement pricing strategies in conjunction with partners from Product, Sales and Finance organizations

  • Effectively partner with sales, finance, product management, and go-to-market teams to build scalable data-driven solutions for sales analytics and decision support; customer ROI and value analysis etc.

  • Collaborate with the Data Science team in developing predictive, and explanatory models; as well as machine learning algorithms

  • Work with enterprise system analysts and engineers to integrate the models with internal systems like Salesforce

  • Develop a continuous improvement process to measure and improve the effectiveness and accuracy of the models using machine learning

  • Work with data engineers and reporting analysts to track appropriate metrics, and facilitate the creation of dashboards/reports for standard and ad hoc report requests

  • Handle multiple projects and ad-hoc analysis requests from Sales, Finance and Product organizations

  • Work with a sense of ownership and urgency, advocate for experimentation based, agile culture.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Math, or Statistics.

  • Have complete command of SQL and Advanced Excel

  • Predictive modeling with a focus on pricing, sales forecasting required

  • Candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience in Sales Analytics

  • Attention to detail, planning & organizational skill to deliver against multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Sound analytical, problem-solving skills and experience driving insights from data

  • Experience applying advanced analytic disciplines for sales, pricing, customer value analysis, customer experience, customer lifetime value, forecasting etc.

  • Experience in segmenting customers, building predictive models to understand causes of customer churn, and developing strategies to reduce churn

  • Knowledge of predictive modeling tools like R or experience in use of machine learning algorithms and libraries, with python, scala/spark; and experience with visualization software a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially communication, active listening, and influence in a cross-functional environment
