Currently, we are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst, the primary responsibility is to generate medical utilization reports for MMB broking and consulting clients with main objective of identifying cost drivers so that these can be addressed by health and wellness programs, cost containment measures and disease management programs to ultimately lower down insurance cost.

Job Duties:

Generation of medical utilization and demographic reports

  • Coordinate with insurance providers in the provision of accurate and on-time data

  • Clean-up and validate data and address and resolve issues

  • Generate reports and come up with analysis highlighting trends and cost drivers in terms of top availers, top claim types, top illnesses and top hospitals, at the least

  • Coordinate with Client Relationship managers in the proper interpretation of findings and how best to convey results to clients

  • Improve and automate report generation processes

  • Comply with data security policies as required by both internal policies and by the Data Privacy Act of the Philippines

Support consulting projects by analysing utilization reports and correlate this data with other data points such as death claims, onsite clinic, pre-employment tests, at the least

Conduct research on identified markets and industries to support business objectives

Conduct studies on insured benefits in the market to provide benchmarks

Generate reports to support business operations such as, but not limited to, sales pipeline reports, revenue reviews, renewal accounts reviews

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science or Statistics

  • Advanced skills in Excel. Macro programming is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills

  • Advanced skills in the use MS PowerPoint and other visualization tools for report presentations

  • Knowledge in statistical software such as R

  • With strong attention to details

  • Ability to work in an environment with rapidly changing demands

  • Leadership skills and ability to influence for better results

  • Proficient in data management

Responsibilities As Trade Finance Operator, your main responsibility is to perform processing and settlement of Trade products. You will process Import Letter of Credit/Amendment, Bank Guarantees and Import Bills Negotiated/Usance Import Bills. You will also do daily monitoring and identification of internal Nostro float items. You will support the Banks's Lending and Trade Finance Operations with two key area focuses: 1. Financial Supply Chain (FSC) 2. Transaction Based Financing (TBF). You will be accountable for monitoring and investigating transactions initiated from two processing platforms namely eBills and FSC handled by the Centre of Competence (COC) team; this involves client on-boarding activities like documentation, maintenance of static data and Client Service/Level 1 support by the Implementations Hub team. You will keep abreast of the latest changes in regulation and compliance matters impacting the trade finance products within the Bank. You will be responsible for the mitigation of operational and regulatory risks observed during the processing of transactions, by providing control measures; and manage internal stakeholders by adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manage customer requirements. Requirements You are required to have Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent and will be required to have a good understanding of the overall trade flows, parties involved, receivables and payables, cost of funds, general accounting principles and exchange rates, negotiable instruments and de-risking/syndication. You should preferably have experience in Trade Operations and exposure on Trade transactions gained from the banking, financial services and BPO industry. You will need to have good communications skills and an excellent understanding of complex issues; you should be a team player with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
