Duties & Responsibilities
Mines data (conversations, digital assets, Google Analytics, etc.) across channels to provide understanding of customer behavior across all departments by analyzing member data, digital KPIs, and digital marketing metrics. Researches and reports on user behavior across platforms and services. Supports testing and optimization of email and other marketing campaigns, landing pages, navigation path and other initiatives. Performs ad-hoc analytics related to customer behavior as needed.
Explores data -- lots of different data streams to seek out trends, business intelligence, and any other key insights that will help CaringBridge grow customer engagement and giving.
Provides analytical expertise that supports enhancement of current business and financial models for marketing and strategic growth opportunities. Analyzes trends in data (marketing campaign for response, lift, revenue growth, profitability and performance) using tools provided by web analytics products.
Helps define key metrics (KPI's) to measure all aspects of operations: customer care, development, marketing, and sales. Plans, designs and implements reporting dashboards and templates. Develops reports, insights and actionable recommendations on, among other things, sales funnel, marketing channels and site optimization to gain insight for new initiatives.
Works with business owners to help define goals and measurements for strategies and initiatives. Monitors the impact of strategies/ initiatives to achieve growth, revenue and ROI goals. Recommends changes on spend allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing budget while meeting business owners' objectives.
Proposes new methods for evaluating information, incorporating best practices from high performing organizations and staying current on the competitive market.
Develops and maintains an analytical toolkit and centralized database, models and tools which support analysis efforts and provide transparency for key assumptions. Works closely with Technology to ensure analytics tagging and implementation supports business needs. SME in terms of all analytics tools and tracking solutions including but not limited to Chartio, Salesforce, Segment, Google Analytics, etc. and suggests adoption/implementation when appropriate.
Serves as a lead for other analyst roles.
Keeps manager informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
