Job Description Summary

AAM is rapidly building the Master Data Management (MDM) Practice across its Global Enterprise. A dedicated MDM Team composed of Business and IT Leaders has been created and tasked with achieving the goals and objectives as identified in our Program Mission Statement.

The IT Department is looking for an experienced Data Quality Analyst to join our team as a key hands-on contributor to this effort. You will be reporting to a Sr. Manager - Data Architecture and will be entrusted with the delivery of key aspects of solution design, configuration, and development of business solutions using various MDM technologies. Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders and solutioning with various technical teams to deliver upon goals identified in the master data management business requirements.

Since Data Objects are only part of the overall MDM solution, you will also take an active role in defining the appropriate Integration solution deliverables and facilitating the implementation of such Enterprise Data Fabric technologies.

Our preference therefore is to engage an experienced candidate in the Data Quality and Integration domains.

Job Description

As one of the upcoming IT Leaders in this domain, you will be assessing requirements, designing, and implementing successful Master Data Management solutions that comprise of Data cleansing, Data ingestion pipelines, Business process workflow, de-duplication, and Standardization.

The Sr. Data Quality Analyst understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all architecture domains (process, application, integration, data, technology, and security) into the solution design of Master Data Management capabilities that support broader portfolio capabilities (e.g., Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, etc.).

You will draw upon your Oracle EBS, Fusion Cloud application and Oracle Integration Cloud solutioning experience as you work directly with the Business team composed of Data Stewards and internal IT Peers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business requirements, create proper documentation, and assuring solution stack maintainability.

  • Participate in the creation of MDM solutions by providing business, governance, and technical recommendations.

  • Envision, plan, configure and support MDM solution implementation, providing hands-on input and contributions during the whole process.

  • Create master data related data-models (conceptual, logical, and physical).

  • Collaborate with Data Quality & Governance Analysts and Data Governance Organization to assist with the monitoring and preservation of the data quality.

  • Assist with evaluation efforts and recommendations regarding purchased software packages and supporting services.

  • Work with internal and external teams, in a self-directed manner, throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Own specific parts of the solutioning stack: become the internal SME across the Fusion platform components.

  • Define and implement application configuration(s), execute Admin processes and tasks.

Required Skills and Education

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in disciplines such as computer science or electrical engineering is required.

  • 5+ years of Data Quality domain experience developing architecture roadmaps, defined business cases and implementations efforts.

  • Experience developing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) logic with low-code/no-code solutioning frameworks.

  • Proven ability to gather business requirements, solution design with technical teams, and write functional specification documents, including business rules, match and merge rules, survivorship rules.

  • Capable of analyzing complex problems including identifying root cause issues, generating a concise summary of analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with business processes across multiple master data domains.

  • Should be comfortable presenting complex technology subjects to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Previous experience engaging external partners on sizeable projects.

Technical Must Have skills:

  • Track record (hands-on) of working with Enterprise scale ERP systems (Oracle 11i, R12).

  • In depth experience in the IT solutioning space within any of the key Data Domains (Product, Procurement, Sales, etc.).

  • Ability to illustrate multiple full life cycle MDM engagements utilizing any of the above technology stacks.

  • Cloud / SaaS / iPaaS exposure.

Good to have skills:

  • Experience (hands-on) with Oracle Fusion Applications (preferably Product Data Hub, Procurement, Sales modules, or other functional domain Apps otherwise)

  • Experience (hands-on) with iPaaS solutions such as Oracle OIC

  • Prior experience with LeanIX

  • Prior exposure to Agile methodology

  • Industry experience in of the following domains: automotive, industrial manufacturing, at Global scales

  • Familiar with on/off-site models

  • All other duties as assigned.
