Senior Cytotechnologist, Full Time, Day Shift

POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares and processes cytological specimens, screens and interprets findings under the direction of a pathologist according to regulatory standards. Performs FISH and HPV molecular testing.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or higher required and CT(ASCP) certified or eligible required.

EXPERIENCE:

Five years relevant experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, frequently changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment.

Ability to work cooperatively within the health-system and with multidisciplinary team members. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities. Ability to use critical thinking skills to effectively problem-solve and deliver service.
