Senior Cyber Technology Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Cyber Technology Engineer to join our Information Security Division, Cyber Technology team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Cyber Data Engineering, analysis, design, onboarding, and production support
Cyber Data Quality Uplift
Mitigate systemic outages, reliability impact of critical Cyber Security Technology Platforms
Analyze deep level problems, evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, modify, integrate, monitor and ensure to automate software systems.
Engineer Control Break Detection Techniques
Assess relevant Cyber Security Industry Solutions
Responsible for design, development, testing and implementation of automated solutions that will interact with multiple third-party applications.
Define and measuring Service Level Objectives as agreed with stakeholders.
Contribute to the Incident management mitigation and post-mortems.
Involvement in system design, platform management, and capacity planning
Uplift Operational Excellence
Research, present, document, and detail engineering and solutions
Manage complex and diverse enterprise cyber security tools including but not limited to SIEM, Vuln Scanning, EDR, packet capture, etc.
Implement config management to large platforms and devops lifecycle tools.
Mentor and train junior technical team members
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in information security or related technology experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Proficiency in large data mining with query or search languages such as SQL, Splunk SPL, etc
Experience with configuration management across large scale systems
Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Go, C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, or any other non-shell script language
SW configuration framework (e.g., ansible, chef, salt), and devops lifecycle tools (e.g., git, subversion, artifactory)
Experience with UNIX operating systems internals and networking
Familiarity with various UNIX performance and system tools (e.g., strace, iostat, free, top, tcpdump , grep, awk, sed , etc…)
Experience in troubleshooting large scale distributed systems across large networks.
Integrating products using APIs
Solid understanding of Risk culture
Solid understanding of Systems Controls and Risk Reduction techniques
